Angeline just could look to the scared face of her little girl...In her Heart, Angeline actually was suffering the worst of all the mothers pain..."Let her little daughter go away" -Heart..I just wanna tell you...- Said as quickly took the pen on the desk and put her signature on her space. ...I will always love you, and I dream for the day, you can forgive me-Said crossing her arms and looking sideway.

-What a...-Said Heart looking for the source of the voice, before she noted that the dolphins were talking to her. -Alright-She tought as saw her mother signing the paper.

Spencers took the form, examined the signature, then nodded, satisfied.
The owner of Meriweather Island then handed Heart a pen. "Good. Now, Mrs. Heart, you have to sign these forms. In short, they will allow you to be legally considered a resident of this island with full citizenship. Though I and my lawyers are to be considered your custodians, for what concerns your life here from now on you are independent." This time, the man smiled. "If you still want that job you were asking for, you'll have to sign some more sheets. It's a deal?"

The words on the sheet were planing some doubts on the Heart's thoughts, but when saw her mother...standing there, so cold; Heart knowed that under that cold and evil rind, must be a good mother, somewhere....but she just couldn't forget what she did. So Heart nodded and took the pen in her right hand...then with slow lines she signed "Stephanie Heart" on the form.

-Is done...-Said still looking the sheet.

A tear came off from the Angeline's eyes when she saw that Heart was signing...every line was like a deep wound on her heart.

-I think... this is nothing compared with the Heart's one-Thought looking to the left, so nobody could see her cry.

Richard nodded, then put the sheets back in the folder. "Very good. Mrs Heart, you are now a citizen of Meriweather Island. Congratulations. I'll be assigning you a new housing, since the hotel is reserved for the tourists. Your belongings will be moved there ASAP. And don't worry, the quality of your housing won't be affected. My family takes care of animals since my ancestor set foot on this island." the man stood up. "Now we may go to dinner. The Arts and Shows manager will be waiting for us." He ignored the woman as he said, "Achilles, please, will you escort our guest out?"
The dog made a sharp salute and motioned to the woman to follow her.

Celeste waved at the girl's back, nearly drowning in relief. She honestly didn't think that was going to work. A small explosion of the same happiness she had woken up with erupted in her when Adel hugged her, even if it was lightly. She stiffened, naturally, but relaxed fairly quickly-- paw twitching as if it were about to jump up and hug him in return. A furiously red blush covered her face, forcing her to turn her head away. "N-not a problem," Celeste stammered, smiling slightly.

Andy tipped his hat to her, whistling. "Way tah use yer words, miss! I thought I was gon' get trampled by a bunch a eye gloss an' lip-scara." He shuddered, oblivious to how uncomfortable Celeste seemed to be.

Colin grumbled under his breath, ignoring Adel's comment, and plucked yet another bow out of his fur. "Bah, ya guys got lucky," he declared. "If dey'd a' caught any one a'ya alone ... " He shrugged, indicating himself. After a moment, a rumbling coming from his stomach. He looked at the others, grinning sheepishly. "So, who wants'ta ge' sometin t'eat?"

Adel hugged Celeste a little tighter, just a little, before letting go. His grumbling stomach had caught him off-guard. "Vat else vill shtop us from eating? Ve have been interrupted by living food and little girls... vat next?" He asked, crossing his arms a bit dejectedly.

Spencers motioned Heart to follow him out. Almost absently, at the woman's words, he said, "As long as she lives on this island, she won't be needing money, since everything is paid for. The quality of life for my staff is not inferior to our VIPs', madame. Any service Mrs. Heart will be needing aboard the Sea Dragon, should she decide for a cruise, will be paid for as well, first class of course.
"As for when she'll be needing to move on mainland, she'll have an escort in the shape of a human/k-9 unit and a credit card with a € 10,000 fund for expenses outside my franchising.
"Furthermore, as artist under contract, she'll gain a fair royalty on any sell of tickets and/or records, to be deposited on a fund formally managed by this administration. Any other question?"

(OOC - thre is only one corridor to and fro Spencers' office, save for the emergency escape route, but this is not the case

Spencers nodded and led Heart along the corridor. "While we're at it, for now your family name will be Spencers. Alas, outside of Meriweather Island you will be still seen as 'property' and that means you must belong to me for legal reasons. Of course, you're fully independent as long as you're here. Now, do you have any special requests regarding your accomodations?"

The elevator's doors opened and they were into the luxurious restaurant. "By the way, Heart, all hi-tech is forbidden in the villages. As a guest you'll be treated well, but you'll also be expected to do some chores. They apply quite well the motto about idle hands and the devil. But don't wory, they won't enslave you or something. In fact, you'll find the natives quite friendly... Ah, there's our table." He led the cat to the table where a blond woman in a tight dress, Donau and Mystic were already waiting. "Good evening madame and gentlefurs. May I introduce you the newest island resident and future top artist of our musical scene, Stephanie 'Heart' Spencers?"
Donau's eyes lit up as he rose and went to embrace the cat. "Yay! So this day ended quite well! Just as I said, eh?" the rabbit nudged her and winked at her. "Congratulations, lass! Can't wait to hear you singin' in them ruins!"

The waiter left. Richard added. "Trust her, child. She knows how to get to one's stomach."

Back at the village, Amelia called for a male. "You. Go fetch Il-Korhaz, Balkan and Victor. Let Randy and my daughter sleep another while, they need their rest more than the others.
The male nodded and hurried toward Balkan's hut for a starter. When it reached it, he said, "Hey, pup! Chieftain wants to see you. Looks like we're going to start."

Andy whistled through his teeth. "Good thinking, par'tner," he said to Colin. With a wink at Celeste, he fell into step next to Adel. "So, Adel, how long have y'all two been together?" he asked amiably.

Celeste, who had been in a half-attentive state, yelped, squeaked, and flushed-- all in a matter of a moment. She coughed, violently, then chuckled and looked Andy in the eyes. "We're not," she responded flatly. "Together. The two of us. Just friends." Something like an annoyed hiss rumbled in the back of her throat as she realized nothing in that sentence made sense. "We're just friends," she clarified. Hoping for some help, Celeste looked up at Adel, gesturing in a 'well tell him' motion.

Andy raised his eyebrows, grinning. "Really? Could o' fooled me," he said.

"Maybe you should think before jumping to conclusions," Celeste snapped, pressing a paw to her forehead. Funny how, despite her vehement denial, she didn't even think to ask Adel to put her down. Not because she didn't think that might help their argument, but really because she didn't want him to. There was something horribly wrong with her and she wasn't even sure of what it was.

"I wasn't," Andy defended himself, "Just that y'all are actin' couple-y. Didn't mean any offense 'r nothin'." He raised his paws in a calm down potion. Celeste opened her mouth, as if to demand more from him, but shut it and simply looked away. He waited a second before nudging Adel with his elbow. "Are y'all really just friends?"

Il-Korhaz was surprisingly calm when the Chieftain posed the possibility of fighting against his own kind in the course of the journey. He had given the whole thing a long thought during the wait, and he knew that this might result in him being labeled as a betrayer against the rabbits. But, he has given his word to Bigby, to the Chieftain, and to Salina and Randy themselves that he will protect them with his life during the journey, and as a warrior, just like his hero, he wouldn't back away from his promise once he's made them! His resolve was further strengthened by Balkan's proud proclamation, and he took a step forward.

"De same goes with me, Chieftain Amelia. I 'ave given mah word and oath t'protect Randy and Salina with all mah life, and no' even mah own kin can stop me from fulfilling dat oath," he started solemnly, and made a fist with his right paw. The rabbit then pushed his chest forward and hammered it with the fist, announcing with a stronger voice despite his size, "Not a single harm will b'fall upon de newlyweds and de new bloodline, once Ah've vow'd t'be their sword and shield!"

Everyone had seemed busy, and it had really only proven true when Gian had managed to sneak away unnoticed. He was headed for the place of the shamans, where Trerria-la had been taken to hide her away from him. Gian wasn't stupid, he wouldn't just march right into the place, like with every village he'd been in, he knew the back doors and could use them leaving no trace but a couple of footprints which he'd mess up with a stick.

He'd left during the party, and had been traveling for some time now, he was using the sun as a guide to make sure he was heading the right way. He knew it wouldn't be long before the O'Salisgraves noticed he was missing, that group kept on him like the eye's of a hawk. But at least he was too far away for them to do anything about it now. He'd passed the rabbits village only moments ago, managing a rock throw to cause a little bit of a disturbance for fun on his way by. It was funny how the long ears would jump at every little unknown sound. The thought of them panicking still since they found nothing was still humorous to him.

The sun was beginning to set, but it was okay as he'd reached his location. He could see the shaman walking around. He didn't really believe in all that hocus pocus spiritual stuff but he liked the magic anyways. He stayed low, holding his little satchel he borrowed from Victor's hut, which he'd stuffed some of the things he and Trerria-la had found and decided to keep together. He was bringing them to her, mostly because it was an excuse to see her, but also because it would make her happy to see the shells and peculiar rocks again. She was into that kind of stuff, you know? She was fascinated by how the stones could look so different from one another, yet come from the same ground. Some would crumble, while others would glisten in the sun, and make colors dance along the ground below. That was one of the things Gian liked most of Trerria-la. It was how lost she could get in a world of fantasy, not letting any of the real problems bug her.

Gian flinched as he felt something on his back, and his heart began to race. "Shoot! I've been caught!" He grumbled low and rolled over slowly. To his surprise, there was no one there. He felt along his back until he touched something and pulled it off him towards his face. He snickered and released the spider onto the tree next to him, whispering. "That was a mean trick you pulled, eight legs..." And he moved around the tree, heading for the 'backdoor' to the shamans area. He had an idea of where to find Trerria-la in this place, he only hoped she would be there now.
