I liked the strip because panel 3 is perfect for an avatar. Screw my artwork, that is 20x better so imma start using it for my steam avatar.

Everyone can find a justification to do what they want to do. Doesn't make what they're doing right, or even okay.

I don't know how Tiger can stay so thin! It's amazing. I have the same metabolism.

I love how he just doesn't care when his lies are exposed. Made me chuckle a little.

And it took you HOW LONG to figure this out?

Tiger is close to an exact foil of Garfield, with very similar behaviors, but a general neuroticism that is an antithesis to Garfield's laid-back, easy-going nature. A dog, hates a different day, likes a different Italian food, tries to ship his cousin to the United Arab Emirates, is reasonably friendly with a fellow pet cat...

Which different day does he hate?

Also, was that pup his cousin? I don't recall.... But Garfield kept trying to mail Nermal to Abu Dhabi, which is IN the UAE.

Tiger hates Thursdays.

And he's a very obvious Garfield reference.

Which comic was that in again? And why does he hate Thursdays?

The same reason Garfield hates Mondays: the person who writes his comic wanted him to hate Thursdays, and for no other reason.

It's in the cast page.

But I can see someone hating Mondays, I can't see anyone hating Thursdays....

Tiger has just as much reason to hate Thursdays as a cat who does not work or go to school has to hate Mondays.

Point.

Although presumably Jon Arbuckle has work (then again, he's a cartoonist, would that take him away from home?).

Jon works from home. Although you never see him working anymore; I'm sure a lot of newer readers don't even know he's a cartoonist.

So there really isn't a reason for Garfield to hate Mondays, is there? :?

Speaking of Garfield. I just realized that Jerry Arbelt is just a reference to Jon Arbuckle. Belt buckles anyone?

I knew Tiger was Garfield with issues, but it took me this long to get the name thing. I am so dense sometimes.

Thursday. It's in the manual.

Reasonable jump in logic, since the pup belongs to Jerry's aunt, and the pets consider themselves family to their owners. And that's why I mentioned the UAE.
