Alright, i got a question relating to Pet allowances and what they buy/rent:

Are pets given the 'age' treatment on what they can rent/buy, regardless of age?

Ex: Rufus somehow Rents/Buys Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm street

Rick, I have a question, that just popped into my mind out of nowhere. If you'd have to rate Peanut's physical strength between 1 and 10, how would you rate it? What about Grape? Max? Fido? Okay I'll stop.

Just when i thought we had the size of the pets nailed down, we get a 5 to 6 foot tall feral woof.

#1, Are only the normally kept pets, (dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets.) the ones with the 3 to 4 tall, ( human waist sized) size restriction?

#2, How big can the feral animals get?

#3, how can this wolf come into town, without a collar? wouldn't animal control come after him??

There's no size restriction, only matters of convenience.
#2, How big can the feral animals get?
How big is an elephant?
#3, how can this wolf come into town, without a collar? wouldn't animal control come after him??
Well, only if they know he's there, and possibly if he's not causing any trouble they might look the other way.

Here's a silly question: I recall you saying that the pet relationships were similar to real life animal relationships, but with influences from human relationships. So, in the event that two pets know they definitely love each other, could they actually get married? Or something very close to that?

Watch closely what Peanut says in panel 1, the bolded text. So no, I don't think it's possible.

Ah, good point, I completely missed/forgot that.
Oh well, I guess they'll just have to spend the rest of their lives together in good company.

I don't know, it might be just a specific thing for Grape and Peanut. And before anyone jumps on me, I mean as individuals, not together.

I believe the point Peanut is making here is that housepets, by virtue of being pets, cannot simply "move in" with each other. Say, for example, that Peanut falls in love with Tarot and they decide to be together. What happens? Mr. and Mrs. Sandwich can't be forced to adopt another pet (Rick has said that pets themselves cannot choose their owners and must have the consent of whatever family they'd like to join); by the same token, they can't be expected to throw Peanut out, or to give him away to another family. While we've seen nothing in the comic that prevents pets from falling in love with each other (to the contrary, we've seen quite a bit of that, from various perspectives), there are certain social and logical boundaries that need to be respected. This works better in Joey's case because A) he appears to be an outside pet anyway, as he has his own doghouse, and B) Squeak, as a mouse, is naturally more covert and less intrusive than an ordinary pet might be; she probably doesn't belong to anyone herself, and it's possible that Joey's family may not even know about her.

EDIT: Two_Twig, draw Peanut and Grape having a pet wedding please, it'll be cute. :P

i'm kinda disappointed in the outcome of the current feral in the neighborhood plot.

It seems the ferrets are involved in bringing the wolfpack into the neighborhood. (who else could pay to rent the house? all the members of the wolfpack have jobs?)
but we will not get to see, how the neighborhood an officals would normally react towards a feral..
like if one was found just prowling around the town, having come in from the woods.

An are we ever going to find out about Fox's time being a feral?

I have silly and tactless question. Actually, two questions...
Rick, can we see you working on a new comic? I mean, maybe, a photo or a videolesson about "how to draw peanut with your own in xx minutes".
And have you ever gave any interviews? I'm pretty sure that it would be interesting to read it...

if you check the next page, rick did an interview with ACT Fur a couple months ago, but its totally in English and i don't know if you can understand spoken English that well.

Rick has been interviewed in Episode 17 of [The Villain's Corner] and Episode 13 of [ACTFurOnAir]. As previously stated, both interviews are in English. Links to the original thread for each interview are included below.

Thank you, guys, I'm just an unattantive person...
I hope that you have enough patience to help me in such occasions in nearest future))
P.S. To tell the truth, I've never before listened to interviews, just prefer to read it. But I hope there will be no great problem in it. (This seems to be a bit harder than watching english version of films, tv-programms and StarcraftII battlereports, but I'll manage *crossed fingers* ;) ).

So, that wasn't as hard as I thought, especially in ACTfur interview. But sometimes I just couldn't understand what that girl was saying, cause she was laughing all the time. In this interview Rick answered on many questions I was interested in, so it helped you to avoid bunch of my questions... :D
Thanks for links one more time.

STOP EVERYTHING!

i have a question. :|

is there a special kind of pet music. after all, they can hear sounds that we can't.

Huh. That is kind of a cool question.

I doubt it would have any effect on the comic either way, but my thought is that it's possible but probably not done.

Actually this have come up before with Albedo. an the kinda of music the EDF would listen too..
One even wrote an recorded music that would play in animals hearing range.
however it had a nasty tendancy of blowing-up speakers.

Hey Rick, since it's the weekend and you get to be lazy anyway, can we get a new forum banner to replace old-school Grape and Peanut up there?

In my mind, it would be Bino, Fido, and Joey rasslin and whatnot.

...

Or, you know, the same as the current one but with updated Grape and Peanut.

My suggestion is to show some pets going up and down two sidewalks and some of them sitting on house steps, mostly sleeping, with Housepets in the middle of the sky.
