... Wow. i know today's December the 1st, but this is the second time today that i caught Grinch related material somewhere i would never expect it.

I also can't believe Tiger is ripping that poor card. XD

Okay, who thought it was a good idea to have TIGER singing a Christmas carol? :P

(I mean in universe, not out of universe.)

I told myself I could break from my hiatus to comment on the comic, and now I'm glad I let myself, because I absolutely love this one. Tiger's gone even further off the deep end than before, making him even more awesome than ever! His neuroses never cease to amuse me.

This is probably one of the more extreme strips so far. Each panel shocked me more than the last. But in a good way! ^.^

Poor soul, must have only seen the Jim Carrey Version...

Nice Shakespeare reference there by the way

edit: whoops, I was thinking of the wrong story...

The amount of carefree he looks on panel four makes up for anything he just said

This strip probably registers Tiger for a good number of tropes. XD
Never thought he was this far gone though... Lol, poor Tiger. (also, I like the brick joke [I'm going to kill you in your sleep])
And he looks so happy too! (ok, well in a malevolent sort of way from the 5th panel on, but still)

At any rate, this has been something of a lighter turn for may day after attempting how to lighten up the plot for my next novel (or possibly graphical novel), because it was getting too dark for me to want to create it, to the point I was getting depressed just thinking about it all x_x

I actually kind've liked the Jim Carrey version.
Also Tiger is starting to scare me now.

Okay, now this is final proof that Tiger is completely insane!

But cute nonetheless.

Hey, Rick? I'm going to kill you in your sleep.

Heheh, this strip reaffirms my love of Tiger as a character; for a long time, he was neck-and-neck with Joey to be my favorite and now he may have a slight lead.

Cute, fun, and funny strip all around and great job for writing the beautiful song (which I shall now sing).

I am totally not shocked that Tiger would sing something like that. although..."I'm going to kill you in your sleep" reminded me of when he and Bino are forced to work together hunting for Zach.

I'm going to sing this while I watch The Grinch who Stole Christmas.
Also, panel 4 is awesome.

Thirded!

Then again, others have had the whole cuteness factor. Like when Peanut and Grape cuddle. :3

Yeah, but the cuteness factor of this blows that out of the water.

In short... this is that? I dunno.

No way. This is cute, but not as cute.

But it's also a lot funnier.

I, too, liked the Jim Carrey version. I don't get peoples' issue with it, other than it was weird, but I like weird. Certainly much better than the soulless successor (Mike Meyer as the Cat in the Hat . . . funny in places but disturbing in all the BAD ways, and poorly paced to boot); the Grinch at least had proper atmosphere to it.

Also I'm not a purist when it comes to my entertainment, but that much ought to be obvious

I didn't think the Jim Carrey version was as good as it could have been, but it certainly had potential, and I did appreciate what they were going for.

I didn't even want to SEE the live-action version of The Cat in the Hat based just on the trailers.... :x I just plain don't like Mike Myers at all.

Personally, I liked The Cat in the Hat mainly since it was funny for me as a child as it was exciting, and it was funny for me as a young adult for its inappropriate humor. It's no children's film (language, sexual references, ect.), but it's funny.

But Grinch was better, I'll agree to that.

Oh, and it's not off-topic to talk about The Grinch because (1) it is related to the subject of the comic and (2) Rick was just talking about it.
