Another bit of fanart

I dunno why, I'm still not feeling that well, and there's a migrain to top it all off, but I managed to sketch out another drawing, this time of the Fursona 4 cast, in the All-Out Attack screen.

I've also written their names in Japanese (albeit badly) to show from who did I base their design on:

1) King -> [Narukami Kingu]
Based from the main character's given name in the coming anime adaptation of Persona 4, Yu Narukami. Narukami could mean 'thunder god'.

2) Fox -> [Tatsumi Fokkusu]
Based on Kanji Tatsumi, the gentle-hearted punk. I was a bit apprehensive about depicting Fox like him, but I think he is most similar to Kanji than anyone else, in terms of protectiveness. His expression kinda scares me though...

3) Sasha -> [Amagi Sa~sha]
Based on Yukiko Amagi, the fan-bearing inn manager.

4) Marvin -> [Hanamura Ma~bin]
Based on Yousuke Hanamura, close friend of the main character with ninja-esque fighting style. I think Hanamura means 'flower village'. I like drawing him the best here, because he's my favourite character, alongside Chie. =3

My apologies to those who can write Japanese better, I'm still a bit weak in writing kanji characters (-.-')

... You know what I'm going to do? I will attempt to draw every character in alphabetical order on the exact same piece (pieces, it most likely won't fit on a 18in Bristol pad) of paper.

Unfortunately, with how fast my style morphs, the first an last character will be dramatically different.

I will attempt this as well. But it will be a collage of many different drawings in one frame. As an added challenge, I will be timing myself again and will not use reference. I will just have a list of characters.

That is kind of a neat design for feet, less pet-like, but more detailed than the cylindrical legs he has now

The face he's making kinda creeps me out, but I really like the design otherwise. It's a bit more realistic but still looks like a cartoon.

The paw pads are weird, though. I've always found plantigrade pads weird unless your style is really cartoony. Like here.

I think it could be creepier. He could also be making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and he would be a pony. Maybe that's too creepy.

Perhaps, it's that Peanut doesn't appear the way he usually does that makes it seem wrong. It's like how if you saw green ketchup you'd think that something was wrong with it even though it was really red ketchup with green food coloring. Because it is not the playful Peanut we've come to know, it is easy to find the drawing creepy even though there is nothing bad in it.

@EvanAiekran Don't you find that pony's smile just a little sadistic?

Huh, finally managed to digitize the Persona 3 screen

I'm a bit sad that I had to crop their faces to fit in the small boxes, but it turned out OK, I guess.
I can't help but write their name in Japanese too XD

1) Peanut - [Arisato Pi-natsu]
Based on the MC's name in the manga adaptation, Minato Arisato

2) Grape - [Kirijo Gure-pu]
She really feels like Mitsuru Kirijo, with her ways =P

3) Max - [Iori Makkusu]
Based on Junpei Iori, with his aloof mannerism.

4) Daisy - [Yamagishi Deizi]
I initially based her from Yukari, but the more I think of it, the more I feel that she's more similar to Fuuka Yamagishi.

Daisy's smile does look a bit forced, but it is a good drawing. What creeps me out is how angry Peanut looks...

We never see peanut angry, ever. I'd find it hard to imagine a clear picture of that in my mind.

Actually, out of the four, I enjoyed doing Peanut's angry expression the most, which is something that I wouldn't even imagined a few weeks ago.

As for claims of no angry Peanut, Peanut may not be as homicidal as Tiger but he can still be angered. The Cat Tail arc has a good example of that and to quote Peanut "But it's just a tail! You wouldn't have complained if it was a whole cat!"
