I need to invest in netflix. It could save me a lot of money.

Since red box has been killing the chain stores, the few surviving independently owned stores are starting to thrive again. They just use the same hook that allowed them to survive when the chains killed their peers. They just carry movies that the "family friendly" chains would never carry. Blockbuster had a strict policy of not carrying films that were rated NC-17. Also, they tended to be very lackluster in terms of their foreign films, art films and documentaries that they carried.

Also, a lot of movies are on youtube these days, legally and illegally. Indy studios like Troma and Full Moon have all their films on youtube. Some films get posted their without consent, and then there is the wonderful world of public domain films that have no copyright.

Since this thread has died for a forum-moment, why don't we discuss the current state of the forum? Or something else forum related?

The forums ARE getting pretty slow. I guess the newness wore off on many. Also, I call one of the future Chat Threads being named "Address Thread X: The State of the Forum"

I never really understood how forum chats work. Someone starts talking, another person talks about it or something else related and so on and so forth. Whenever it came down to chatting, I almost always have a hard time keeping my end in the conversation, unless I have something to discuss about. Sometimes I start talking about myself for no apparent reason... kind of like what I'm doing right now...

You have the wrong idea. This isn't a thread to specifically talk about where in the world I happen to be located. This is the chat thread, where anything (within forum limits) can be talked about. It's tradition to start a new one every 50 pages, and each new one gets a new name. Near the end of chat thread 39, we were talking about how my location is a mystery to all of the members, so it was decided that would be the name of this chat thread.

And for the record, only three non-mod members know what state I live in. I don't believe anyone else knows.

Given the amount of possible names you could have I would say that I will not be guessing it any time soon, that and you could just deny everything. My knowledge in geography is also poor, I can't name 20 of the US states so I won't be guessing that either. I could track your IP but that takes time and would be pointless.

No, I'm pretty sure I never did. I'm sure I've told you all that there are places to find my name, but never my name itself.

I posted some autographs made out to myself earlier in this thread, so I think everyone knows my first name. And Beagle knew it before that when she called my mom to tell her I was alive when the flood destroyed my phone. I still had internet access, but no one in my family checks their email more than once a week!

I actually get my username from my real name. If you ever saw my real name, you would probably figure out that it's me.

Unless his name is Civit Jeffries I doubt that his first name is Civit. Jeffery civits is plausible I guess.

I may base my username on my real one, but you will never guess it based on my username alone.
