You know an avatar that I haven't seen yet. I haven't seen an avatar of the elusive Tish You! It's the master mind behind everything.

Re: Avatars
This thread needs a bit of a bump.
Can someone explain how you could crop out a piece of an image and be sure it's the size of avatar that the site permits?

Re: Avatars
In PhotoShop, when using the crop tool, on the top bar you can choose the dimensions that the cropped area will be. There is a box for height, and one for width. The most common dimension tends to be 100x100 pixels. The same can prolly be done with SHIFT+Click/Drag, but only if is square.
Once the dimensions are set, when you click and drag, the box will stay 1:1 for height and width. If the cropped area is larger than 100x100, go to Edit>Resize Image.
If you are using another program, I'm sure it'll be relatively similar.

in short, Ctrl+Alt+I, set to 100X100 , be sure your picture is square.

The main problem is that it's already so complicated and effect-y, so I wouldn't have much of anything to add.Red Ryu wrote:You should try one of the quickening with Peanut.

OK, I should've asked it before, but I call dibs on an Avatar of Sabrina thinking hard during the precognition chess game. She's too awesome not to be avatarized!

Please tell me how to resize the image so that does not spoil the image quality, as in this picture?

Re: Avatars
Not currently, I don't believe. You can always (and it would be polite if you did) change your avatar later if you bump into somebody else who's been using it.FowlJ wrote:Anyone know if this one's taken? I don't believe I've seen it around.

Re: Avatars
A background would be cool down the line, but that's what I wanted. I wanted all of King in that. Thanks. :3

Re: Avatars
Oh my goodness I would use Fox's face forever. Almost as good as the one I'm using. That happy smirk...makes me so happy.

Re: Avatars
That's easy, I set avatars on my iPod all the time!
First you hold down on the image, then press copy, then go to Edit avatar and set it in links off-site and you're set.
And drat! You got the one I wanted! Oh well
