Still find it hard to believe that it has been 4 years since the comic went on hiatus and Rick moved on to other things. I honestly never expected this to last that long but I am sure it won't be too long before he starts updating again.

In that case, I'm just glad he's moving on from housepets. Among other reasons as to why, Seasonal Rot would be a thing that people get fed up with since long runners tend to get worse as they move past their shelf life and drive the series to the ground.

Yeah but Rick has said REPEATEDLY that he plans to go back to Housepets! at some point when he is ready so we just got to wait. Until he says that he is DONE with it for good I am assuming he will be back.

Rick's really been going at A&H Club since he resumed it on July 28; he's already posted 10 pages to his Patreon, though at the last time I checked he hadn't posted any of them publicly yet. I think what he's doing is he's going to do the whole chapter before he starts uploading them. If that's any indication, since he quit A&H Club at around the same time as Housepets!, assuming he gets back to Housepets relatively soon, it'll likely be around two months, or at the end of the year, before we start seeing any pages, but we should start seeing them again.
That said, I'm not sure if he's going to PUT Housepets! on his Patreon- he mainly uses it for his other projects, though SOME Housepets art does appear there (mostly NSFW). When he DOES resume, I might not be able to give warning that it's coming- it might be a surprise to me, too.

I am not too worried whether it will be a surprise or not honestly as long as we get new content which he insists he is going to do. Since we have no reason to doubt him we just need to be patient and make assumptions about anything like he secretly quit doing the whole comic.

He definitely hasn't QUIT the comic, because he still posts Housepets art every month. The most recent was on Wednesday with a very-not-allowed-to-be-posted-here image of Fox and Sabrina. I think he's got a checklist somewhere of all his projects and stuff he wants to get back to, and he limits himself to three or four at a time so as not to overwork himself.

He has some not safe for work art of Fox and Sabrina I assume together? He definitely comes up with a lot of out-of-the-blue pairings doesn't he because I never would have thought he would go there and I am sure the Fox/Mungo shippers are very annoyed.

If it makes you feel any better Fox looks very surprised about it as well. There's no background on it but posing suggests that he's against a wall. I'm pretty sure Rick got the pairing from suggestions during his monthly stream.

I hope he is just surprised and not disgusted about it and thinking that it is wrong because he is batting for the other team now. One thing that I worry about is when Fox and Mungo are finally put together Rick will assume we all will forget about the fact that Fox had crushes on females and was always just gay.

Okay, one, bi people exist, being with one gender doesn’t mean the crushes on the opposite didn’t happen, two, those Housepets posts are usually part of Patreon requests, if someone wants to see it and they’re lucky enough for Rick to choose it, Rick draws it. It’s also how a Spo and Marion ship art came to be.

I know that bi people exist but that isn't what I was getting at when I said that. I was saying that I was afraid that once Fox and Mungo got together Fox would be presented as 100% GAY and not BISEXUAL and we would all be meant to forget that he ever had deep feelings of love for other females (Sasha and the Season Angels).

That is true but I have seen a lot of series where they completely whitewash the fact that someone was heterosexual when they begin a homosexual relationship because some fans refuse to acknowledge the past. I don't want the narrative to be that Fox was only doing what he THOUGHT he should be doing and that his feelings for any of them weren't real so I might just be transferring some bad experiences I had with other media to here when there is no evidence that will be what happens.

I admit that's one I'd like to see. When Fox first appeared, he was not only Bino second lackey (after Rex), he was militantly anti-cat. Then Grape saved him from Fluffy the gator and he started to question his bias. I always thought it would be interesting to develop and arc where Fox began to find himself drawn to a friendship with a cat. Sabrina seemed to be moving in that direction given a couple of episodes where she flirted with Fox, although Fido was there already and Sabrina, unlke Sasha, did not seem to be "a player". Daisy always seemed another possibility. Rick, however, drifted into other directions with the appearance of Mungo. Still, Fox and Sabrina ... "mmmmmmm .... could be" (B.Bunny quote here ).

I don't think that Rick ever intends on breaking up Fido and Sabrina because despite Dragon breaking up Max and Sabrina to put her with Fido so Pete couldn't use him in the game, the two are perfect for each other and just feel right. I think that they are both gonna be safe and will both appear again when Rick gets back to the comic.

I can't disagree, Amazz. Still, he seems to have lost interest in the Fido-Sabrina tie-up after the saga with Prince Jata. I don't expect to see much of them in Housepets 2.0

Dayzee tends to pull her icons from a comic I can't say here because of filters but that resembles "Slightly Danged." I can't say for this specific one, though. It's been a bit since I read that.

If the curse is a name of a literature you are looking through currently you should be able to say the name without getting in trouble so the name of the comic is "Slightly Damned". And yes, it is one of the characters from there. Compared to the writer of that comic, Rick churns out pages at a lightning pace when he was writing the comic.

I have to admit though if it is a hardcore swear word or some sort of slur that polite people don't use in the name off the title I don't think that you would get away with it even if you wrote it because it was the name of something. Though if it was then obviously its something that has a very higher rating then this comic.
