Housepets!

After a year later, it's finally done! *shot*

I actually forgot about this project, until recently when someone approached me to request for certain characters' names to be translated. Only did half of the ones they specified, as well as the ones I promised from last year.

A shout-out to creators of the Housepets Wiki page for the information and summaries. I would've never known Ptah's and Satau's origins, as well as Jata teaching Grape Swahili, which is a big clue. Thanks you guys!

Interesting little project here. I also ended up learning what my Japanese 'equivalent' name is - not the transliteration, but the actual name. So thanks for that. ^_^

You have any other languages that you want to translate the character's names into?

I'm honestly considering using the Japanese names in HPZ for more effect.

Err.. I actually meant I've done the four names I promised last year. There are still many more to come, not to mention the humans.

So yeah, this will be an ongoing thing, pretty much.

This is pretty cool. If Housepets were a Japanese anime, I guess these would be the characters' names. What would Mungo and Dallas' Japanese names be?

I don't know about Mungo, as it seems to be a foreign name, but Dallas' name may be something related to the Japanese word for meadow, as Dallas is derived Scottish name meaning meadow dwelling.
