Ok so every character is in a big group so now its a little confusing to know who is talking to who. Can you please post who you are talking to each message in a OOC message if don't say the name of the pet. Thank you it will be helpful to everyone.

Ryan is just wandering around the group, not talking to anybody just watching things unfold.

Tesla- Sitting awkwardly in the middle, debating if she should say anything or not.

This info is great so far, but one thing Moon Howler. Snowy is high up in a tree hiding, Speedy is on the ground being social.

I'm sorely tempted to toss up a character sheet for this place and see how it goes. Though first I should probably ask, the front page said ten slots...so is that player slots or character slots? Or in other words, are there spots left or are you full up?

well we're full for day one, but Musclecar's gonna open some slots once we get closer to the next day.

I'm just checking to see if people like this idea on how to measure how loud Tesla talks.

A scale of 0-400.
0 = Nothing. She's just mouthing words.
10 = She can barely hear herself.
25 = She's whispering to her own ears.
45 = She's talking to her own ears, almost as quiet as a normal whisper.
60 = Her voice is raised in her own ears.
85 = Almost a talking level to others, she's nearly yelling.
100 = As loud as someone talks.
130 = She's really trying to get your attention.
180 = Almost yelling to a human.
200 = A human yell.
260 = She's probably angry if she's this loud.
340 = If you can't hear her at this point, you're probably deaf.
400 = You know that banshee like scream foxes make? Yeah, this is it. Anything said is probably too loud to be understood if you're not paying enough attention.

In a post, it will be done like this.

"(100)This is just an example (200)on how it will work, (10)disregard what's said, {400}if you wish."

Only 400 is done with "{}", because it's as loud as she can get.

I'd like to get several opinions on this system before I use it, and feel free to make suggestions.

or you could describe how loud she's talking within the post (i.e: "blablabla" she said so wuietly she could barely hear herself), but aside from this seems good.

I have two issues with that.

First being, it'd get to be a bit difficult to constantly have to add a whole lot of words just so people know how loud she's being.

Second, She's quiet, even for her own kind, so I'd have to constantly type out a relative between how loud she hears it as compared to how loud it would be heard.

My issue with my current system is having to re-type some things, and that will get under my skin fast, because I can't do repetitive tasks for too long when I feel there's a better way to do it.

Why don't you try out your number system for a while and if it works than keep using it, if it doesn't try something else.

Why is there such a lack of posting in Exotic Acres? I usually have to wait on someone else to post for a few days before continuing. I'm not mad, I'm just wondering why?

I don't know. probably because of the group dynamic. I keep not seeing anything I can really say so I expect the others to add something I can respond to but the others wait for me without letting me know in a timely manner so I don't know I'm being waited on. when it's a one on one thing, it's more obvious whose turn it is.

Just an idea mabey we could hold some kind of major event so that people will be posting alot, then people will come back like mabey a water gun fight or uhh well something you'know

Yes you may, but you'll have to wait until the first day in Exotic acres is over. There is already 2 other people in line to join.

That is a good idea maybe later in the day I'll have an event of some sort happen, that will unite and involve everyone.

Neighborhood: Exotic Acres

Appearance: Pit is a red kangaroo, and thus is quite tall. He is usually found standing in a fairly languid posture. His eyes are big and soulful. He is usually seen with a relaxed grin pinned onto his face. Pit doesn't wear a collar, instead he wears a stainless steel ear-tag with his information on it. His other accessories include an overly large, blue Hawaiian shirt that us worn unbuttoned, a few wooden bangles on his wrists, and a pocket watch worn as a pendant. Pit's overall appearance is generally laid-back, chilled, and happy. 

Personality: Pit is a very, very laid back fellow. He's a big fan of cool jazz and sweet food. Despite the general aloofness of his actions, Pit is a demon on the soccer field. He is a very receptive person, willing to listen to anyone's problems and offering his advice, which is usually good. Pit is a very flexible guy, willing to go along with the plans of his peers. This is not to say that he doesn't have ambitions of his own, he just likes to see what will happen on his friends' next adventure. Contrary to his skill and agility, he likes to be sedentary and moves slowly if the situation does not call for speed. He's a bit on the silent side. He likes to spend his time amassing knowledge and getting smarter. He doesn't like loud noises or fighting.

Backstory: His parents found him in Australia lying in a ditch after the attended a concert. Horrified that anyone could treat another animal this way, they took him in immediately . After a short time filling out the proper papers, which his parents described as a "downer", they took him back to America. Pit lived a nice, tranquil life in a southern town where his parents imbued them with their hippy-like demeanor. He found that he had a natural talent for sports, especially soccer, just after he arrived in this country. After a few new gangs popped up in his town, he and his parents came to the consensus that they needed to move to keep their chilled out vibe. Now they live in their current neighborhood, Exotic Acres.

Other: He has obsessive-compulsive disorder relating to time. He must always know what time it is, always know how long scheduled events will be (at least an estimate), and every clock around him must be in sync. If his compulsions are not satisfied, his thoughts become clouded with meeting his requirements and he will try his best to rectify the situation.

Hey just curious but I never got a note if Marru was ok or not, I mean if there is a problem with ESP I can change that I mean its not like he can touch something and tell you everything about it, just bits and pieces or something that is gonna happen near or involving it, waiting is no issue, just wondering if you were fine with him or not

[critic mode]It was so short I didn't find it very easily, so I'd work on giving a few fine details in appearance, like the details of his body pattern, if it's solid or not, and maybe you could expand on the personality, since being generous and willing to listen to someone is hardly a complete personality.

I personally have no issue with such a power, just so long as it's not with 7/8ths the things he come in contact with. Stuff like this bugs me when the psychic touches something and every time they see something. I'd be pretty cool if it was 7/8ths of the things seen were pointless things if 7/8ths the things he'd touch had some kind of future vision, but that's because psychics seeing everything would mean the RPer could pretty much god-mod everything.

Basically, I'm saying I'd like details on how that works.

Also, try sections, it makes it a lot easier to read.

Example:

Name: Bob Smith.

Age: 13

Species: Cat.

And "Other" fits more under "History".

I'm not the GM, so what I say is only suggestions, so if Musclecar chooses to say something that counters what I put, then that's that.

Ok then and no it isn't 7/8 certain conditions have to be met or it has to be something important for him to have visions, the rest of the mysticism only extends to the tea readings and the tarot cards and what not, he is a real fortune teller not one of those fake ones

anywho, off to tweak his page

EDIT: Tweaked my stupid phone won't let me use the quote feature, I noted that his fur is solid black besides his ears and tail, changed the tag to a white crystal shard, and put a bit more into his personality and changed other to Bio, and stated a little more there

I looked at the revised character sheet and it looks good but as i have told many people you have to wait until the next day in EA to join. I'll announce when that happens.

I know that Snowy just played a few games with his group. But I'm calling for a minor time skip to when both the Girls' and Boys' food is done, so about a 10 minute time skip. Are you guys OK with that?
