Falling asleep in suit could be very dangerous. You could easily end up with heat stroke. If you're often finding yourself getting sleepy in suit then you need to take more breaks and drink more water.

I would think that heat stroke (hyperthermia) would be more of a possibility in the summer months when its hotter than in the colder winter months wouldn't it?

Fursuiting is an exhausting activity even in a climate-controlled space. Unless you plan on sleeping in the snow

Oh, it can happen any time of year depending on what you're doing. Imagine wearing your great big poofy jacket indoors for a few hours with the heaters on in winter.
Basically the only time the risk is really low is, as Nathan said, if you're in the snow.

Sorry about the terribly blurry photo. I really need to work out how to make the autofocus work on my camera. Or find some stand-in so I can use manual focus. It's hard taking fursuit pics when you live alone.
