Yeah but I highly doubt that their family tree is as messy as any soap opera family tree however. Some of them are not a tree but a bush.

My son sent me a rather battered Hamm's Beer baseball cap, knowing I have a fondness for that local Mid-Western brew (a relic of my years at the University of Wisconsin, 1968-1971). God knows where he found it, but it fits well, keeps the sun out of my tired old eyes, and starts some interesting conversations.

I learned Japanese all by myself without the need to go to school or university, I study all from the internet by myself

That I have to say is QUITE a massive accomplishment and you should be proud! Especially since Japanese is one of the hardest languages to learn.

Somehow, I wound up predicting how dangerous Electric Vehicles can be without realizing it when I was making the origin of Tum Masterson's heroism. (The youngest raccoon hero trying to live up to high standards and all that)

I honestly thought that it would be self-driving vehicles that would be more dangerous as they seem to plow into things everytime you turn around and they haven't figured out full autonomous driving yet. I am so glad I have my license and actually know how to drive a car.

In my travels, I picked up a lot of the plastoy Asterix chessmen and, eventually, I managed to collect a full set. Years ago, I brought home the first Asterix book and read it to my son, Paul, who was then six years old. He was so delighted I collected a large number of them, which I still have. Hardly what you'd call the full set (I think there's about forty total), but I still pick one up occasionally. I did get their 50th anniversary issue.

Pretty trivial, eh?

A little over a decade ago I managed to buy an early-90s luxury car from my neighbor after saving up money and I had it for quite a long time and thought that I was one of the cool kids since I was in a rare Infiniti. That all ended when some moron who was so desperate for her flame broiled whopper cut in front of me to go to Burger King. I wasn't quick enough to hit the brakes and T-boned her which resulted in both the car and my nose being wrecked. The accident was in 2017 and I had the car since 2012.
