I still doubt I'll watch that show because the art style just doesn't do it for me, but that song is actually pretty darn good.

Edit: Also, the My Little Dashie movie does seem to be legit. The guy posted a video about a week ago saying that he's working on a second trailer and has pretty much finished the script for the film itself. He's got some issues with funding, but he is still working on it.

About the season three song and what seems to be the plot for that episode...

It makes me wary of season three. Just my personal opinion on it, but it seems to be very different from what the other two seasons have been like. To be honest, that really didn't seem like a song to me, but more of a glorified speaking part with a little bit of music in the background.

Now I'm not saying that it's going to be bad or anything. It seems like it might end up being a good season if they did everything right. But right now I think the songs might not be as good based on that one...

Ok that was very very enjoyable. I loved Spike's singing and dancing and the part where Twilight teleported over the lily pads.

Edit: And Someone already covered it This fandom is fast

Edit 2: Something very little people noticed. I'm pretty sure The Guy running the panel said to "Tune in Next Month" at the end of the song so the show is starting sometime in August I would guess. Looks like the rumors were true.

Fair point. However, in all honesty, I was expecting a song like this from Twilight right from the start of the series. She didn't even get her own personal number until the finale of S2, and it was about a brother we'd never heard of before they started promoting the episodes he'd be appearing in. (Edit: Almost forgot about Love Is In Bloom... but you get the point.)

Personally, I'm feeling strangely optimistic about it. Perhaps they're simply adding more short, simple, character-defining songs throughout the episodes, rather than having Pinkie do all of the impromptu singing and saving all the other musical numbers for specific plot-points. If they're anything like this one quality-wise, I really wouldn't mind that at all; so long as we still get our full-length, epic numbers every now and again.

Besides, a potential first failure for Twilight is a pretty big deal, right? :p

Someone on 4chan brought up a good point the thing that Twilight is not prepared for could be Celestia officially considers her "graduated" after the test she took and therefore no longer her Student.

An interesting thought, but that seems more like a thing to end the entire generation on, really. :/ Because if she were no longer Celestia's pupil, learning about friendship, what more could the show really do? That's the entire premise.

True, though it would still cause a pretty dramatic shift in how they would go about ending most episodes.

Also, something I didn't notice in my first couple playthroughs of that song: after Twilight recites the answer to the square root of 546, and the teacher pony says, "She is correct!", the animators poked a little fun at the concept of a pony holding a writing implement in their hoof. The pony writes the equation on the board with ease, then holds his hoof up, and the chalk sways back and forth a couple times and then falls off his hoof. :p

Ok assuming this is from the first two episodes like the last song this is what Twilight was worried about. We now have 100% confirmation of Cadance's return as well as where Cadance rules. Along with another place (actually I think the first, every other ones are fan made) out side of Equestria. Also another race of Ponies is now known I guess, its not really clear if they are a separate Race or the name Crystal Ponies is just because they are from outside of Equestria. (I kind of think-and hope-its the latter)

The inner critic in me is coming out.

I liked this song, even though it was still kind of like the first one. Now the only problem that I have is length. This wasn't just one pony singing in it, but all of them. I feel this song should have been 2+ minutes. But they have a few shorter songs like this in the past seasons, and I liked it overall.

The song was nice, but they did that thing again where they have ponies with their mouths opened as wide (or wider) than they can possibly go, yet they're singing a note that isn't really strenuous at all. It wasn't bad at the end of Find a Pet, but it irked me in So Many Wonders, and it's about 10x worse on the last note of this song. It just looks really silly and out of place unless they're actually ending the song on a high note. :/

Possible Season 3 Character From the look of him he might be the Villain of the opener. I think he looks neat, a bit over done maybe but neat.
