Hotep, if you're too busy you can always poke your assistant/backup/co-GM to start the new day for you. Or just give players permission to start in the OOC if you haven't got anything planned.

No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

What's the month/season? Thunderstorms and it's cold, so says the weatherman, lead me to believe we're somewhere in fall, heading towards the winter months. Though I don't know if weather patterns are any true indication of this locations weather.

is it bad that this line has me picturing Andrew and holly sounding like Matt smith and Alex Kingston now?Welsh Halfwit wrote:"Thanks, sweetie," Andrew said before staring into the distance.

Alex Kingston was River Song right? Because if it's River and the Doctor, then no, it's not bad at all.

Can someone embed a sledgehammer in that receptionists's skull, please? Even if that kind of thing weren't unnecessary with a species that can be educated about appropriate behavior, there's such a thing as tact. the pets are standing RIGHT THERE.

Hence Andrews' reply. But he knows she's considering health problems as well so he cut her a break.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
@Hackle: in this RP, although all our characters have magic of some sort, the general population is unaware that magic is real. So most of our characters will do their best to avoid showing any signs of their power in public where anyone could see.
Whether or not Hackle knows this though, is up to you. Let's hope Jake is paying attention. ^^

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
well I didn't know that either way but he didn't show any powers in front of a human other then Andrew & the wind he is currently using even condense the way it it would not be visible so it looks like he was using speed alone & he was outside in a private property of an elderly woman currently being bathed..
Social media, is just as much of a curse, as it is a blessing, & our government doesn't like being filmed so keep filming

I'm still here, just need to a recap.
My characters!
I got too many colors to remember. I'll put them here to see. Aren't they nice? Yep! Absolutely!
(There's actually 6 eggs, but I ran out of links)

If I recall, everybody went home/dropped off home and is currently starting up interactions. So basically status normal.

Re: OOC: Radients Vineyard.
updated bonnie's bio to better reflect how she acts in the RP.
Buster wrote:Personality:
She has a bit of a chip on her shoulder due to her past, but is otherwise quite friendly and will go out of her way to make sure others are not in danger.
Or at least that's how she was originally intended to be. She's instead picked up exadgerations of some of the less pleasant parts of my own personality since then. Friendly at first, Bonnie has little tolerance for 'playing stupid' whether it's intentional or merely perceived, Her demeanor turning catty and sarcastic toards the individual she perceives as wasting her time. This gets especially bad if she had expectations of the person beforehand.
Her past abandonment issues have made her slightly possessive of those she cares about or has interest in, and she's been known to hold a grudge following arguments or other altercations. To those she's close to she's usually pleasant, but may mess with them from time to time.
Personality issues aside she's curious about the world of magic, and believes any power can be understood best through study.

oh gods... noah just sugested giving Sandy's doghouse wheels, to sandy. 'cept there's the whole 'mad scientist dad' thing, so she'll probably misinterpert that as 'make it drivable', and she'd probably go overboard, and now I've got this image stuck in my head of the thing having helicopter blades, tank treads, and generally looking like a gnomish machine...

Hey, Rig isn't dense. He knows not to use magic around most people in such an obvious fashion. He just doesn't understand why other people can't know. Considering that so far everyone he's met has been pretty okay with it. Including his previous companions.
