Er, Mickey, broken ribs are quite excruciating. There's just no way Delilah would be able to stretch and bend enough to do a somersault even with the painkillers on board. Besides, doing that is directly contrary to the vet's orders and could and probably would make the injury worse.

Though, of course I've adjusted her stats to better match her description and re-wrote a bit of her history as to not have a string of typical teen-aged shortsightedness. Thinking back, I only really did research for which kinds of exotic pets were legal to have in certain parts of the U.S., though I'm certain they allow tigers as pets in parts of India, and I've heard there's a domestication of the red fox being done in Russia.

Though, that's getting a bit off topic... I'm sure you know what I'm getting at if you go back and look at the original sheet.

I'm okay with Tesla rejoining. as long as none of the other players have any objections in the next 24 hours, you can join back in then.

Well, you seem appropriately active... and not welcoming. I beleive I would like to do something and join you if that's alright. I was thinking about joining with a Pangolin charecter but I might just have to do something with a Savannah cat. I don't know what I'm doing and I'm insane, I hope you don't mind to much ^-^

Character Name: Norbu (Tibetan name meaning "Precious Treasure")

Gender: Male

Color: Byzantium (#702963)

Type: Main

Species/Breed: Chinese Pangolin

Age: 2 = 7

Appearance: Norbu is a tall and rather thickset fellow, covered in brown and tan scales along his back and white ones on his stomach. He has a collar on him, a leather one that won't actually break on his scales. His tag's symbol on the front is a Lotus flower, symbolising protection, with information on the back. His tail is long and drags on the ground behind him, also covered in scales like the rest of his body.

Personality: Norbu was locked up in a cage for a good portion of his childhood, that being a few months in human time, and has a increasing fear of them over time. His personality is mostly of his undivided love for his owner. His owner isn't often around, loving to explore and have adventures... And Norbu often thinks that he would be able to go with his owner if he was a normal pet, like a dog or a cat, and that his problem is that he's on the critically endangered list. This also often weighs on his consciousness, as it is much less likely for him to ever get a true mate then any of his nabors... Although he also knows that it is likely that he'll have to spend some time in Zoos to help his species' condition.

History: Born in Northern Tibet, on the border with China. He was stolen as a pangopup (I am not making that up) by poachers who planned on raising him until adulthood to sell for a major profit. However, his soon to be owner was able to help him out of the bind in a way Norbu would end up over dramatising to amazing feats. However, at this point Norbu had lived with a human family for too long, and with a bit of cash and a sympathetic heart his owner took care of everything to get Norbu as a pet.

Appearance: With olive gray fur, and black spots that line her back, Kosh is somewhat thickset for Many cats, being larger then a housecat but much smaller than most large cats. Her color hangs on her neck tightly, made in the same style as Norbu's although she is far less likely to break it simply by wearing it. The tag symbol on the outside, in the same manor as Norbu's, is a Trishula with the information on the other side.

Personality: A little bit wild but protective, Kosh is something like a berserker of legend.. While not nearly as strong as her brother, she is much faster than many and with able to spot danger. She isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch, but she's a fun loving individual and often takes her brother and anyone around them with her on some crazy maddening adventure.

History: Her home was destroyed as a kitten, somewhere in south Asia. Her owner somehow got her out of their with legal pet papers, probably with the same connections they used to get Norbu home. She was just a kitten, and her owner quickly was happy with her since she quickly warmed up to norbu, the primary reason she was brought home in the first place. She tought her brother to love swimming, and they have a freshwater pool in their backyard... With some fish in it that she occasionally steals.

Did a bit of reading just to get a sense of exactly how big Tesla would be before jumping in because you guys are beautiful and have given me a prime chance to hop in and go to where everyone's gathered without even knowing it. Fennec foxes are particularly small. Tesla is a bit smaller then a ferret.


Now, as for your prompt for a bit of feedback on your characters, 22xander, I have to say... I'm actually impressed. The numbers on their S.P.E.C.I.A.L.s work out mathematically, even if they don't work on description, but it's their histories and personalities that are well composed.

My note on what's amiss is Kosh's stats. We assume 5 as average, which means she's actually weaker than the average for her kind. Being described as strong of body and will, her stats seem a little... strange, I think. Endurance is as much a psychological effect as it is a physical measure, and is arguably what will most refers to. 2 is the minimum allowed stat, so that is quite the contrast to her description.

I would suggest rethinking her stats, or rethinking her description based on that.

My real positive notes are that their histories mean the two characters would have a connection based on sympathy, which is a great foundation for the opening to the form of relationship described in Kosh's personality. This history also is a great point of interest for other characters, depending on how willing the two are to talk about it. Could make it easy to explore their personalities.

The character premise? Awesome. I love it. I'm just a little confused by the stat values on Kosh.

Norbu's color is too light against the forum's background, it's hard to read. choose a different color.

and is their owner some sort of professional conservationist? cause that's the only way I can imagine him having 2 pets who are an endangered species. at least, without it being legally questionable.

also Leaf's points about matching stats to story are good.

Kosh is supposed to be a crazy berserker type, quick to action but quick to be defeated, while her brother Is the tank. She's toned, like a well oiled spring. Tought as only a cat can be honed in the art of catching goldfish in the koi pond. She's supposed to be s little Wesker then average strength wise, and be taken out with minimal effort when you can hit her... that's the hard part.

Well, Kosh is supposed to be a little legaly questionable. He's more of an Indiana Jones figure, and was able to collect them because he's able to work around he law and in it.... I tried to imply he bribed them for Norbu, and used realy shady means to get Kosh.

Also for the color, do you mean thistle? I kind of find thst sad, I love thistle.

As for the stats I can try and rework the description for Kosh ok?

yeah, change from thistle. as I said, it's hard to read against our background, so choose something darker.

and rework the description to match the stats. what you wrote in reply to Leaf seems to make it line up a bit better.

So, i fixed those issues... is that enough to get me in now? Or is their more I should fix?

While not necessarily a problem, I would suggest changing Kosh's personality description again if she doesn't necessarily /want/ to fight. As it reads now, I get the feeling that she does.

She doesn't want to fight, at least she claims she doesn't. But she is strong willed, thick headed, and loves to get in a bit of a tussle every once in a while

seems alright to me, if no one has any objections in the next 24 hours, you can go ahead and join.
