I'm going to say you win for the faux fur shedding just because the fluffy factor is just too darn cute.

Do you even need to ask that question, or do you not know me well enough to know the answer?

I know, right?!

We're so much cuter in the winter but there's still a lot to say about our summer coats. They're blueish! You feel naked in it, but it beats heat stroke! Even as a furry it still felt really weird talking about that in the first person.

P.S. I'm seriously considering buying an arctic fox plushie for 15 dollars from Amazon right now. It's even the same size and maker as the fennec fox I bought at the St. Louis zoo! I need to decide whether I feel weirder for ordering a stuffed animal over the internet or for not having my fursona in plushie form.

P.P.S. Out of stock. :(

I bet the dog military saves a lot of money on uniforms if they just hang insignia from the collar and call it a day.

Twice.

But then I also donated the hair to child cancer patients. Because, a) what else are you gonna do with it and b) it made me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside.
I keep mine.

But is your hair currently that long?

I'm sad I missed the whole "ya'll" discussion.

I say ya'll. I also say "reckon" and "I'm gonna get me some..." and "I bin doing it!" and "I might could" and I, like somebody who speaks Southern American English properly asks "where you from?" rather than "where are you from?"

I don't say "purdy" and I hardly ever say "ain't" though. My mother does both. I also don't merge my pins and pens (except I say "bin" instead of proper "been"), but my mother does that too. I don't usually say "see them things?" but sometimes it happens. It depends on how flustered/exited I am. If I get flustered I'll also turn all my I's into "ah's" and my drawl gets longer.

Nobody mentioned the awesome word "All ya'll." I say that all the time.

Yeah, and it has been for three years.

See, the first time I cut it at Elementary School graduation, and the second at Middle School Graduation. I decided to keep it when High School graduation rolled around. I had the longest hair in my entire senior class, which actually frustrated and surprised a large amount of girls. I won a box of Reses Pieces for the longest hair award for senior superlatives.

My hair seems to grow quickly, reaching waist level in a little under a year.

My hair doesn't grow THAT fast, but it does seem to grow rather quickly.

My hair grows kind of fast, but it curls so you can't usually tell.

"I'm gonna get me some" and "where you from," while not the norm, probably wouldn't get you many stares at all up here. Same with "bin." Though I'm glad you don't say "purdy" or mix pins/pens. That would bug me to no end. And "all y'all" is completely ridiculous and redundant. I forgive you though.

And i -> ah is hot. Just putting that out there. :P

Possibly because you're in Missouri.
Same with "bin." Though I'm glad you don't say "purdy" or mix pins/pens. That would bug me to no end.
Yeah, I don't like it either.

No it's not! It means something a bit different from just "ya'll!" It's more familiar.

I agree with the notion that people are really nice here. I recently rejoined a forum from years ago and I was almost shocked at how big of jerks some people get away with being there.

I meant "you" as in "you country talkin' folks," not Kentucky, our brother in slavery and Unionhood. If I'm going to be politically incorrect, exact details aren't important, are they? Factual falsehoods are kind of the point.
