The pets ran down the ever-strecthing path. Quartz never got tired. Katherine eventually slowed down. The campsite was almost in view.

Are we even going the right way?

Yes, it's that light. I can feel it! Will they accept us after what YOU did?

Quartz frowned. They were so close.

Bishop sits patiently in the backseat of the truck, his owner humming to what sounds like Elvis an
d reaching for a small coffee thermos. Bishop rolls his eyes.
"Dad... you said you would stop when we got to Sunset"
Daryl smugly replies "Bishop, we know this is my last, and besides, its another two miles till then anyways"
Bishop crosses his arms and mutters, looking out the window," I can smell the Irish creme. As soon as we get there, im going for a walk.

(Can anyone fill me in completely upon who is where and when and what? Lol)

(Pets are at the campsite, my pets are near there, and 2 pets are talking in town.)

The pets fianally reach the campsite, exhausted. Quartz watches the others with Katherine. They didn't want to sneak there again.

As Daryl unloads the truck, Bishop immediately does his business, sniffing out everything as usual, that is until he smells meat cooking and follows the smell, drooling hungrily.

Will made another pause and took a deep breath before continuing "After a while, I heard whimpering, which I recognized - it was Maria. When I reached her, I saw the reason of her whimpers - she fell into a trap and hurt her leg. I helped her to get out and used the same kind of medicine I used on you, just in a raw form." he glanced at Eris "I even ruined my cowl for the bandages." then he muttered under his nose "Though it was one heck of a good cowl." Will smiled once more and continued "Once I took care of her, I saw the light once more, but this time, the lights were more like embers and I could swear that I saw a shadowy figure, who motioned me to follow. And so I did follow, with Maria in my arms. The figure lead us through the trees and long-abandoned paths, until I heard voices and saw lights from torches. I looked around, but the figure was nowhere to be found, so I continued to the group ahead. Luckily for us, Kaneka did sent a search group and they were more than happy to see us. When we headed to Kaneka, I turned my head to the wilderness and saw that same figure and it seemed ... satisfied."
Will sat down "When we got into the village, I told the elders that same story and they simply smiled at me. They didn't believe me, except for the elder I was assigned under - she believed me and explained to me about the spirits. Ever since that night, she was... softer to me." he took the bowl and took a sip from the tea "That is my story of how I met Ken-Te'nai, the helpful shadow."

Eris listened intently the entire time Will spoke. Half of her interest was because of her little infatuation with him, the other half, however, was genuine interest and intrigue in his story. She blushed when he mentioned the medicine. She took a calm sip of her tea to calm her nerves. She smiled in awe at his story, "Wow, that's really awesome." She said, genuinely awestruck, "Say, Will, what other types of spirits are in your culture?"

"There are Manyof them. For example:" Will smiled and began explaining "The Te'nai are shadowy spirits who like to interfere with mortals from time to time, they act 'directly'... as one of the elders referred. There are other spirits, called Bomai - the spirits of the Five elements. Jena'ki are the guardian spirits of the villages... something like saints. Kaye'ki - are the spirits of Luck. Bazz are the spirits of hunt..." he paused to take a breath "And I'm pretty sure there are at least a dozen more kinds of spirits, which I either don't remember or don't know." He grinned "The Witch-doctors and the Flame-dancers like me worship the Five elements - The Bomai."

Bishop continues walking towards the smell to find a small encampment behind some brush and finds no food, but instead an interesting conversation about something to do with spirits, he mutters to himself "Ah, Bishop, you are such an eavesdropper."

Archimedes sat there, wondering if he could find any good story... He knew of many, but what would be the best. There were ghost-pirates, space aliens, space ghosts, phantoms, gouls, goblins and even his young experience with an angel... Or at least, something like one. Its hard to remember the details of things from when your a few months old.

OOC:@WhiskeyMutt - The campsite is WAY outside of sunset... At least, going off the original plan... That way we wouldn't be drawn back to regular life or get the chance to run home if we get too spooked.

Looks up curiously as he wipes himself off, his speckled figure smeared with dirt and leaves.

Valiant forgot everything about his own fears as he went into full attack mode, getting into a fighting stance. beside him, Belisarius did the same.
Rikki went by Mitch. In a sheer physical match, she wasn't really useful. But she could be the voice of reason; right now, Quartz didn't look nearly as dangerous as he did the first time they 'met'. "I see you're feeling better..?" she asked, prudently.

Katherine just shakes her head at the others saying, We came to make up for what we did. To be friends as Quartz and I planned before HE attacked. I didn't know what went on since I was sleep induced by the incense at first, but since Quartz was fighting, I thought I should help. There, so if you don't want our friendship, then say it. Don't fight it into us. We will understand., and runs over to Quartz, taking out her shiny constallation log.

Valiant walked to Quartz. He placed a paw on the other dog's shoulder.
"Uh, look, I'm sorry for giving you a bad impression. It was my fault for reacting like that, and as a former police dog I really should be more comprehensive. Valiant Leone, my pleasure." he extended his bionic arm to shake. With his head, he pointed at the hulking wolf then at the female ferret. "Those are my mate, Belisarius, and my bestest friend and colleague, Rikki."
"Hi there," she said with a toothy smile. Belisarius bowed respectfully. "He who desires to change his ways deserves a vote of honor."

Thank you. Quartz Orren. I thought one would turn around, but it was my fault for attacking you. You can get a bit crazy being in the wild since you were 3.5 years old.

He shakes her paw , as Katherine walks over with her constallation book on Orion and Cancer.

Katherine Orren. I figured Quartz would put 2 and 2 together, and get all sad like that. We still want to be friends with everyone. Even you. We never hold a grudge.

Katherine says the last part tearfully, pointing at Eris.

I guess you're right. About the shelter, we've NEVEREVER been in an animal shelter EVER before. It must be terrible. Anyway, want to see my constallation log? I think I lost count at 249.... Katherine opened the log, flipping through page after page, withh at least 4 on every page.

Bishop knew it was no use arguing, and continued up the steps to his private closet, balling himself up as hee prepared for nightmares filled with shadowy figures and pointy objects. Bishop hates pointy objects.
