learning Japanese is going good so far

I learned to read a number of reading languages for research, but my spoken abilities have pretty much evaporated. Good for you, Fan - Japanese seems pretty challenging.

That is to be expected since you are still learning. i doubt they will hold it again you.

I hope you are able to immerse yourself into it and achieve success with others, Japanese is a tough one.

If you can somehow go to Japan and immerse yourself in the culture it might help you a bit. I say this because my sister is now in Japan visiting her boyfriend's family.
