Gotta agree with you on that. Though that would mean Ptah has gained some decency over the eons. Satau hasn't really changed that much, as Mungo shows.

I suspect it may be because the Spirits are needed for what's at the end of the Temple. An Escort Mission, if you may. Other than that, they're useless... Just like every other Escort Mission.

Two things,
1) I did not write half of that john did, can you please fix the misquote.
2) the constant requests for spot are starting to get annoying. I can't see it happening, Rick is a better writer than that.

A gentle reminder to be respectful
Spot would be a bit of a cliched choice, yes, but that's not to say Rick couldn't do something interesting or amusing with it. It's pretty much been a different person mentioning Spot every time. Some people apparently don't care that it'd be a cliche. Don't really know what else can be said on the matter.

Personally I don't actually expect or want Peanut to become Spot. It's just a forum thing.
But I think the gamers who insist they have a balanced party are kind of annoying too. Rick already hung a lampshade on that. It doesn't actually matter if they have a balanced party, they're going to end up working with Tarot's party anyway.

Random thoughts...
1. "Puppy pizza" might be a variant of the term "pavement pizza", the result of a person, usually a city-dweller, being anatomically rearranged and redistributed colorfully because of impact from a high velocity fall.
2. No hugs? No "Thank Catdog, you're okay, Peanut!! I thought ... Etc." from Grape?
3. No Peanut-Tarot embrace? Oh, right...it's Tarot ... Still....
4. You know, if Sabrina told Peanut there was no "resurrection spell", he probably wouldn't be too distressed. Like Sabrina herself once remarked to him, "Nothing fazes you, does it?"
5. Sabrina...always the comforter. Doesn't Fido ever accompany her? Mungo and Fox get time off...
