I don't think he cares about the tail. He seems more bothered by the fact that it wasn't a mouse.

Because most pets feel naked with out them, and while they aren't pets anymore they were at one time so it most likely would feel weird to them.

Someone else noticed it too. However, it is no longer listed in the "We're Snowed In!" arc and it is now tagged as an one-off.

I just realized Karishad has green eyes. Just a random observation. Next thing you know we will be seeing the tiger's eye color and all of the other random color related questions from the black and white strips.
