I think I'll be a Deathbat
Oh, wait, I already am!!!!
Well then I might just be a Jackal or something to see what it's like bein canine:

Welp, it is decided. Tried the species change thing a few years back and discovered I did not want to be a furry. About to try it again, see how it turns out.
I am now apparently the psychotic, split personality bundle of fur otherwise known as eevee. For the next week anyway.
My characters
Everybody has a story to tell. What's yours?
My friend who i've known for about 5 years now has always joked that I would be a Bunny if I was a furry. After recently letting out that I was, he demanded I be a Bunny for species change week! So i'm working on a drawing a disgruntled Pladim in a bunny suit
I'm Blue daba dee daba die
Steps to Enlightenment brighten the way, but the stairs are steep, take them one at a time.

YES!! THIS!!!!!
Also; Copper? an Eevee?? WHEEEEEE!!!! *Glomps Copper*
*wags tail* (I'm a canine (Jackal) as of right now for SCW, I might change that in a bit... maybe not tho...)
for species change week, I am constantly changing species, cycling through every species ever, so fast that I'm at least 3 or 4 species at any given moment.
You totally took my idea of being an absurd arctic fox hybrid that I used a few years ago, Brent! *huffs*
ArcWolf wrote:So if you are a furry you don't have to stick with the fursona you make.
Interesting.
*imaginary beard pet*
People change sometimes. Though SCW is kind of an exception. For example, I've been an arctic fox for all 7 years I've been in the fandom, though SCW is the only time I've been anything else.

I'm pretty sure that Sleet is just a genderless robot that laughs at us.
As it is, I have been dubbed a Civit Cat for the week by Copper, our resident eevee. It's interesting because being a cat means no thumbs, and therefore I cannot work doing the things I usually do. *Plays with a ball of yarn*

I would not be suprised, also, another Civet Cat here? wow, well then, welcome to felinedom Jeff, but a fellow feline... that is when scw ends, but for now... *Barks*

Believe me, (s)he doesn't give anything up from general or personal chat unless (s)he wants to. For over a year I read everything (well, I didn't go out of my way to read stuff, but I paid attention to whatever I happened to read) and kept mental notes of every talk that might produce a confirmation of his/her gender. I still couldn't tell you one way or the other. Sleet will forever remain an arctic fox that we cannot call a him or her.
As for knowing that a Civit isn't a cat, I knew. But Copper proclaimed that I was a Civit cat, and who said we had to be a species that actually exists?
Now if you excuse me, *Hisses as he continues to try and escape the tangle of yarn he's been stuck in for an hour*

except one time. what she said didn't give him away, but it did allow me to find a profile of hers on a social network that told me his gender. (actually I didn;t think it actually gave her away until he called me a butt for finding it )
Man...the fact no-one knowsSleet'sgender is gonna annoy the mess out of me.
I've had issues guessing someone's gender online correctly in the past. It often happens when a chick uses a masculine sounding name or when a dude uses a feminine sounding name.
I thoughtSleetsounded pretty masculine. It being androgynous never crossed my mind.
Sleet wrote:Maybe. I keep my gender unknown around here.
Sleet, along with every other user of the forums has every right to keep whatever details about themselves they may choose private while online. That includes their reasons for doing so, so long as they are not malicious, which Sleet is not.

Sleet is like my best friend ever and we dated a few years ago. Some of us know her gender, but we respect his privacy too much to let her secret out of the bag.

I do believe the fuss about Sleet's gender is because we are all accostumed to know other people's gender at a glance, and the idea that someone's gender is not only unknown, but deriverately hidden from us, makes us uneasy, to say the very, very least.
I keep insisting that Sleet switches gender intermittently and involuntarily every few seconds/instants, but nobody wants to hear a word of it. Say it's not true. They are denying it because they don't want anyone to find out, I say!
Besides, Sleet already left a trail of bread bowls through the comments in the forums for you to follow.
20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (
When I registered here, I could've SWORN Sleet was a guy, and it stayed that way until SOMEBODY referenced Sleet a few times as a "her" in the HP! Skype chat, *ahem*(you know who you are)
Alright guys, a little talk about Sleet's gender is fine, but it's been going on a little long now and I feel it should probably be redirected to the Chat Thread at this point.
I wish I could change my vote. I voted "no" but since then I've acquired a fursona and joined dA and FA and I've decided that I want a fursuit and want to go to cons. Plus I discovered that two of my friends with whom I went to high school are furry and one even has a fursuit.
So yeah, I'd say I'm definitely and officially a furry now.
