Considering how this website might very well explode soon (look at all the lovely bad gateway errors) I would just like to pop back in for a proper goodbye just in case, and say "hi guys, missed ya" and also I disavow almost every single post I made on this forum and on Discord before, they really were cringe and sorry to everyone in this fandom I made angry as a dumb teenager.

Missed you, too, Harry ... and the Bad Gateway affliction seems to be a daily occurance. Being a computer network "naif", I don't know what can be done about it but I do wish one of the Moderators would come up on the Forum and comment. If this is the death throes of Housepets!, could someone in authority offer a proper eulogy.

I'm annoyed because just as it seemed like the forum was starting to get better I end up being kicked off before I had work yesterday so I couldn't post before then. It threw off my routine dang it!

It looks like the forum just suffered a massive DDOS denial of service attack, based on the "most users online ever" statistic. If that's the case, then it should slowly return to normal over the next week or so.

Don't really have anything to work with overall and I just got back online with a much more functional computer rather than one which is constantly breaking apart to the point of it being unable to be salvaged nor saved outright. And even though there AI involved in recent times, I don't know if I could take those ideas and put them in my own writing since it's generally ideas and the means to check and write in my own words overall.

I don't know if I could even trust myself with such a source of right out discord since at this point, I wound having no talent and since I wound up spitballing with copilot overall with regards to the fan fictions and the various ideas overall... I think I need to take a break... Or rather retire since I wound up using AI to spitball ideas in the first place. If that winds up being enough of a case to bar me from writing ever again... At least I know that I am more than happy to accept when I royally screwed up outright for even such levels of hackery that makes me no better than the talentless hacks who uses the likes of AI to begin with, let alone with intent to write stuff on my own with the AI being what I would use to get ideas and all.

If I am no longer welcome because of that in spite of me not wanting to contribute to the AI problem that is a problem general in spite of my intent to write my own stuff even if it was inspired by AI that I would write in my own original writings... It's been a real slice. Next time, I will actually know my place and hope that things would turn out better after developing the actual skills needed to get me out such hackery in general.

Getting fed up with the various 502s and DDOS Attacks. To the point where I'll be more than happy to work on fanfiction somewhere else where it can stay stable somehow.

No ill will towards anyone here. It's just getting that bad what with the likes of Cloudflare no being able to keep the forums up.

I don't really write stories either though I did try to write one about a decade ago but that went no where but even I am starting to get a bit furious with the forum not loading sometimes. Its annoying and exhausting to keep being reminded that there is a 50% chance for the forum to load since I check it twice a day (though I didn't yesterday because I had therapy then work so I went back to bed but when I came back from work I couldn't get on at ALL.)

Not sure if anybody is telling him about the status or he is trusting the member who runs the server on which the forum is on right now but they definitely are working on it from what I was told. According to RandomGeekNamedBrent, here has also been a possible breakthrough on the cause of the errors on the old server but they don't know the status on finding and trying any possible fixes right now.

The site has actually been a bit better with the errors and them not happening as much as they did in the beginning. However it still might be a long while before we can use the site at any time without having to worry about getting kicked off because of bots.
