Ponies, eh? I think Mr. Steward would disapprove of that, am I wrong? http://www.ratemydrawings.com/drawings/ ... 01681.html

For those who don't know, Mr. Herman Steward is the court appointed steward of the Milton ferrets, so yes, he is an actual Housepets! character.

Nice drawing, QRS! And I really love the shading and outlining. Too bad he's only in the comic to serve as a pun for the ferrets XD

Huh, I digitized one of my earlier Solatorobo drawings. =P

Yeah, the shading is my favorite part of the drawing process. So what exactly is this Solatorobo thing all about? It is a very interesting Peanut drawing. :)

*shivers* Without the eyes, your drawing of Mr. Steward will haunt my dreams!!! :shock:

That is excellent! Peanut never looked so dashing!

The ponies..... the ponies are turning Babylonian residents into one of them! Soon their forces will be powerful enough to destroy us all!

I was timing myself when doing this, seeing how fast I can draw peanut. My new record is 2 minutes and 28 seconds. I sure it would have taken longer if I colored it, way longer color isn't my specialty.

Wait, what? 2 minutes?
... That's fast. I need at least 3 hours just to finish a sketch, and another 4-8 hours for digitization... (-.-')

Wow, 3 hours? Guess I am not the only one.
Digitalization is something like... making a drawing in the computer based by a drawing made by hand, or something?

So I decided to draw Jeeves the butler not in the way you expect but I still kept the narrow face and large nose. http://www.ratemydrawings.com/drawings/ ... 01981.html I drew him as an older teenager but with more of a British rock star look because it completely defies how he looks now. It's exactly the same thing when you see a picture of Marilyn Manson today (even when he has no makeup on his face) and then you see his childhood photo and it is completely different. I want the Jeeves fan art to reflect that drastic change, understand?

Sono atari~! Yeah, that's about it, using the picture of the sketch as a base, I draw over the sketch using Fireworks (I know, but I've gotten used to it) and my trusty mouse. I know the term digitization is not exactly correct, but that is how I call the process. =3

@QRS: Jeeves definitely has that rock star look as a teenager. I absolutely love the new (old?) look on him :D

JEEEEEVES!!! :D

@ Kurowolfe:
Oh... I just draw with pencil and scan the picture. I know, I am lazy... I don't even color the picture!
Anyway, if you take a look at my gallery (Deviant Art), about the 90% of the pictures took me about 3 or more hours to draw. I am slow "-.-

What does Sono atari means, if you don't mind if I ask?

Oh my, sorry bout that, I got carried away.
Sono atari is Japanese for "That's correct!"

If I feel like it, and if I have a lot of time, then I'll colour in whatever I've sketched. Since the only other way for me to show them online is by taking rather blur pictures of them and transferring them to my laptop.

Jeeves looks great! Like he would be a good man to have in a fight. Nice work as always!

Fast hands you have Manawolf! That is a quick sketch of Peanut. Are those anime eyes?

I finished another fan art drawing of Jeeves with some other famous Jeeves characters. Housepets! Jeeves is at the bottom right of the drawing. http://www.ratemydrawings.com/drawings/ ... 02504.html The guy with the hat is Percy Jeeves. He is the real life namesake of the famous fictional character, Reginald Jeeves. Reginald Jeeves is Sir P.G. Wodehouse's Jeeves.

That guy was born in 1888 and died in 1916. The Holmes stories take place between 1880 and 1914 . There is a lot of overlap with those time periods so the Holmesian appearance makes a lot of sense. and their faces also look similar. It's good to hear that you liked the fan art.

I was trying to draw the All-Out Attack screen from Persona 3 using the same characters that I did before, but I got carried away and somehow drew my own feelings throughout the 3 hours I spent sketching this on them...

@ IJWL: I did want to try other expressions at her, but as mentioned before, I was quite happy at the time, and Daisy's only ever smiled in the comic, so why not? You got a point though, it does get creepy after a while @.@

@ Sinder : Grape looks really feminine! (^_-)*
@ IJWL : Your drawings look really good! And Daisy's smile is really creepy, huh? XD

I dunno why, I'm still not feeling that well, and there's a migrain to top it all off, but I managed to sketch out another drawing, this time of the Fursona 4 cast, in the All-Out Attack screen.

Image

I've also written their names in Japanese (albeit badly) to show from who did I base their design on:

1) King -> [Narukami Kingu]
Based from the main character's given name in the coming anime adaptation of Persona 4, Yu Narukami. Narukami could mean 'thunder god'.

2) Fox -> [Tatsumi Fokkusu]
Based on Kanji Tatsumi, the gentle-hearted punk. I was a bit apprehensive about depicting Fox like him, but I think he is most similar to Kanji than anyone else, in terms of protectiveness. His expression kinda scares me though...

3) Sasha -> [Amagi Sa~sha]
Based on Yukiko Amagi, the fan-bearing inn manager.

4) Marvin -> [Hanamura Ma~bin]
Based on Yousuke Hanamura, close friend of the main character with ninja-esque fighting style. I think Hanamura means 'flower village'. I like drawing him the best here, because he's my favourite character, alongside Chie. =3

My apologies to those who can write Japanese better, I'm still a bit weak in writing kanji characters (-.-')
