I'd imagine the same way they can see with the bags over their heads. Maybe, being animals, they're going by smell and hearing...?

Better question: How could Indiana and his sidekicks see through their hats in the movies?

That I can't answer--I've only seen the first movie, once, and remember very little of it....

Not Max's fault Grape can't avoid Lava waves! (Though i doubt to see why <3)

As for how Max can see them, i doubt he can. Traditionally, the couch is usually the safest spot form Lava. Only time you can ever see out of the blanket like that is when you attempt to swallow someone up the way Max did.

You just gotta love those names. And it appears that Peanut is adjusting pretty well to Max being there, so far.

But maybe Grape and Max aren't like every other new couple that has ever existed, and will actually recognize that other people still exist...yeah, ok, probably not :P

Seeing them playing that light-heartedly lets me hope this marks an alleviation of tension between Max and Peanut.

But seriously, in case you decide to watch more of it don't bother about watching the other half of the tetralogy, especially Crystal Skull. For the love of God, don't watch Crystal Skull!

I never really was interested in that one. :P

I just saw Raiders of the Lost Ark and it didn't really do anything for me.... That's just one person's opinion, I know it's a popular franchise, and maybe there were others in it that I'd like better, I don't know....

Well, if they were mature enough to date, I don't think they would say that... I don't know, they seem to swing back and forth in maturity levels. Though to be fair I think I will still do the kind of thing they are doing now when I am an adult as well!

the way i see it, playdating in the housepets world is similar to how pets in the real world play.

I would shoot that they behave like natural adults, but when playtime comes, it's like beating the yarn ball around or trying to kill that toy mouse that will never ever die...

who knows, Maxie maybe something that Grape will only call Maxwell when they play as well, since it's in the same area: playfulness.

Hey Rick, is there any chance we get a larger, not-covered-with-speech-bubble picture of Max from last panel in the previous comic (March 3rd)?

I want that picture so bad....

Its not any larger, but it is uncovered... to the best of my abilities that is. Hope it's okay.
If Rick does post the original image, then I'll take this one down.

Edit: recolored legs to match fur.

I noticed that too, but I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be that color or not. I've recolored it though so that it matches.

"Peanut is not amused!" is the first thing that hit my head on the second and third panel. XD

Also, was hoping that Max would pull off the villain in the end. but man, he chose the wrong way to do the chant! Hopefully this ain't going to trouble Peanut too much. Maybe the finale will change that!

EDIT: Just noticed Peanut has no collar on. I wonder if they mind doing that when they are playing?

Props to Peanut for his... uh, props. Attaching horns to a brown paper bag and making it look decent can't be easy.
Also way to go Max, really getting into it. Grape's plotting a rescue as we speak.
