You know, I don't think I have ever gotten sick from eating too much of something.
And I do eat a lot of stuff at the same time sometimes.

*eats the remaining cookies, then pulls a plate with only two more missing out of a hat*
I magic'd the cookies.
I only got sick from eating too much once.
also, I'm about to go eat a whole bunch because I last ate about 24 hours ago. I took a 1 hour nap that I magically turned into 15 hours of sleep.

I apparently turned off the alarm and went back to sleep. and I just decided to sleep for the night when I woke up at 12:30 AM, hoping that sleeping so much would make it so I wouldn't have to take another nap and risk oversleeping again. so I woke up at 7AM.Zukio wrote:Why did you need that much sleep? Somehow, from the time I opened my eyes to the time I pulled onto the road in my truck was 3 min.
Yea... I couldn't do that again if I tried.

Re: Chat Thread 36: Get Off My Lawn!
Dang, Brent. 15 hours? I can't stay asleep for more that 6 hours unless I'm not feeling well.
I usually sleep two times a day. One 2-4 hour nap in the evening and one in the morning.

Sick enough that my mind couldn't really process any work today, but I suspect not sick enough to merit a day off tomorrow, meaning that I'll just look like a lazy slob who didn't want to do any work on the weekend, which, while more than partially true, is rather frustrating.
Not so sick that I can't construct overlong, convoluted sentences. Only death will take that from me.

There's this one guy in the anime club, everyone says he's rich because he totally has a basement. I've never seen it, but from what I've heard, it's a basement.

same here. it's a big storage room that also happens to store a big screen 3D HD TV.
it also leeks when it rains, so it kind of stinks.

Re: Chat Thread 36: Get Off My Lawn!
I've never lived in a house with a basement, but my grandparents have a huge basement. They have a car, boat, decorations for holidays, and old toys down there. And even after all that it still has enough room for 2 or 3 people to sleep down there if they need too. I call it the wonder basement.

Re: Chat Thread 36: Get Off My Lawn!
My house has a basement, but we've never had the funds to get it finished. So it's got no heat or air conditioning (not that it needs AC), no wallpaper, and half of it is about 3 feet higher than the rest and is filled to the brim with dirt, on top of which we have about 8 years worth of children's toys all of us stopped playing with quite a few years ago. So they're all just kind of collecting dust, mold, and mildew most likely. :V
The usable half used to have a really big (and super freaking heavy) television set that I used for my gaming purposes, but we moved that out and gave the basement to my older sister (who couldn't stand living in the same room as my little sister) several years ago, and she's been living down there, when she's not away at college, for quite some time.
Once she's done with college and moves into her own place (ideally in the next coming months), we'll probably move the bed and all of her stuff out so we can possibly finish it finally and get some use out of it again. We'll see what happens though.

Re: Chat Thread 36: Get Off My Lawn!
My parent shave always wante dto finish our basement, but they never had the right combination of time and money to do it.
It's pretty much just the laundry room and storage for me and my dad's hockey gear.
So picture an unfinished basement that smells like dirty laundry and hockey bags and you've got a pretty good idea.

My mom's starting to clean out our basement but it's really slow without my dad helping, so I dunno if she's really making any progress. :/
