Dylan didn't know what to say...it wasn't that he was going with the dog that he insulted so many times, but he was being passed around like some sort of object was a bit weird. Wait...are you giving me to the manic?!?! I don't think this is such a good idea. He yelled over at Cier...He then slowly turned his head at Venison with a nervous laugh.

Venison narrowed his eyes and furrowed his brow at the smart-mouthed mouse. "Either just get on my shoulder or under my foot, you little brat. I don't have time for this." Venison unclenched his face and looked at the other mouse in a...tiny lab coat? "Ceir said your name was...Del? I'm not sure if we've properly met yet. Oh, well, same goes for you. Shoulder. Let's go. I need to get to Sara..."

"You aren't in trouble.
Your dad? I think he might.
I need to go back to Sara before she gets suspicious...but we're probably going to need to tell someone about this somehow...not that anyone would really believe me...Remember that if anyone hurts you or Pavelle...tell me."

Magnus nodded unhappily at Venison, confused at the Coydog's last statement. He wasn't hurt, and even though Pavelle was in a hospital, Magnus knew that nobody had hurt her, that it was something in her head, like the vet techs had said when she was on the stretcher... he shrugged it off, though he wondered if Venison was talking about Felix, again. Felix wouldn't hurt Pavelle, though, and probably not Magnus either, even though they had just been fighting. He shook his head, paying attention to Cier as he said something about 'cleaning up'. The Dane looked around, a bewildered expression dawning on his face. "What happened in here?" he wondered aloud, and lifted the couch, which had been knocked over, into its original position. He hurriedly began gathering up books, seemingly forgetting the fight and everything while he concentrated on stacking the novels carefully in his arms. "Cier, put the bookshelf up again, please?" he asked, trying not to drop any of the books he had picked up.

Felix found a stashed box of pet dye under Edie's bed and went into the bathroom. He quickly got to work, following the instructions on the box, impatient to get the whole thing over with. He was still worked up from the scuffle, and his shoulder and hand were killing him. It hurt to stretch or bend, which was a pain in the *** when trying to reach his back or tail, and caused him to react to every painful twinge by cursing under his breath. He knew that by the time he was finished, he would be getting to be very creative with his swearing. Regardless of his injuries' soreness, though, he was toweling himself dry within twenty minutes, rubbing the excess dye and water out of his fur. He paused for a moment while he grumbled to himself, then, with a sigh, quickly dragged a petbrush (probably Edie's) through his fur, the movements jerky as he was unused to grooming this way. He figured that housecats probably didn't normally have little bits of somewhat blackened (from the dye) twigs and leaves in their fur, and that it might look a little suspicious if he did. Or maybe just plain slobby. No matter which, though, he had decided to be extra cautious and try to get the whole 'innocent pet' look down really, really well. The better to hide his actual identity, after all. So he'd have to put up with a quick brushing. He yanked the brush through his fur till it was silky and shiny, to his digust, and finished off his transformation by clipping the pet collar Edie had gotten him around his neck. "There," he said aloud, and stood on tip-toe to look in the vanity mirror above the sink. The head of a black cat with long, glossy fur and a simple black collar looked back at him. He regarded himself for a moment, pleased. He could hardly even recognize himself, though the steady, wary look in his eyes kinda gave his identity away. Anyone who knew him well enough should be able to recognize him from the eyes, if they paid close attention. Good thing he didn't know too many people/pets around here, then. He left the bathroom, heading towards the living room, to find Cier and Magnus there with the feral, cleaning up books. He stayed a little back from them, asking, in a flat tone, "Recognize me?"

Meanwhile...

You both could be home in time for breakfast. how does that sound?

Pavelle smiled a little again, nodding her head as she replied. "Sounds really good to me. Hospitals... well, they creep me out." I've spent too much of my time in human hospitals with my mom to be too comfortable in here... Not to mention all the sick/injured people everywhere you look... She shivered at the thought, suddenly feeling a cold, unexplained worry, but was distracted from her preoccupation when there was a light tapping at the window and a tiny voice started calling her name. She looked at the window again, startled, recognizing the small red bird, asking, "Tory?" She started getting out of bed to open the window, but then cast Christopher a imploring look, settling back a little. "Can I get out of bed? Or would you or Rav or Balbaroy rather open the window for me?"

Lucky sat on the curb, sighing and rubbing his hand through his ears. Looking up he saw Venison walking away from the treeline with... two mice on his shoulders? Maybe this was his chance. Standing up he approaches Venison, having to jog to catch up behind him. "Hey! Venison! Wait up!"

Balbaroy was sleeping peacefully on the recliner when his trainer came in with a leash. "Hey guys, don't mind me, just came for Balbaroy." Picking him up gently and carrying him out of the room, as quick as she arrived she was gone down the hall.

Cier looked at Dylan "Try not to get into trouble." He took the mice off his shoulders and handed them to Venison. "It's nice to finally meet you, Venison.. Del climbed up from Venison's paw to his shoulder. Cier turned away and went to pick up the bookcase. He lifted it a few inches, only to drop it when it scraped the injured part of his paws, causing them to start bleeding again. He looked at them, slightly confused. 'When did this happen?' He looked at Magnus. "Magnus, you wouldn't happen to know where the bandages are kept, would you?" Wynn put down the books she had gathered up. "I can try to get the bookshelf up." She said, walking over and struggling to lift it. Cier turned his head as Felix walked back in. "Good, you might want to hide your shoulder and paw though, the doctors will jump on those in an instant if you walk in there like that."

Amelia just watch Alex walk off, Alex? Amelia took another sip of her lemonade and sighed, what did she do this time? Amelia looked at brian and smiled He will be back.

She quickly stood up so that she was facing the hooded dog. The dog slowly took off her hood with one paw so that her face was visable. Amelia's eyes narrowed as they both of them just stared at each other directly in the eyes, between them sparks seemed to fly out. You...

After a little bit of effort Pyxis finally rips the duct tape from him taking fur off but fortunately not leaving a spot where there isn't any fur at all. He reflexively hisses and kicks the roll of duct tape on the floor next to him. Unfortunately there is a moderate length of tape sticking out from it. The result as he kicks it is that the one part sticks to the bottom of his foot while the roll tries to fly away, the sudden change of momentum making the path of least resistance a different direction. It ends up with duct tape wrapped around Djinn's foot with the roll underneath his foot. "****!!! STUPID MOTHER ******* STUFF! GET OFF OF MY **** FOOT YOU STUPID PIECE OF ****!" He begins stomping around in anger furious with the events.

(Side note: Anybody who wishes to include Glory go ahead. It's hard to get her in.)

Rav flattens down his ears, as everyone in the room keeps calling him Ravi.
he gets up an goes over to the window, an opens it to let the bird in.
Whats you doing here? you break your wing again?? an where did you leave the old dog???

Christopher nods to Stephanie, as she comes in to collect Balbaroy.
So you two feel well enough to try to eat some lunch? I know Ravi got fed this morning, but i'm pretty sure Pavelle hasn't had a chance to eat today.

Alex got angry after the dog who bumped into him completely ignored him. Even worse, she was going to The Wall. A completely unfamiliar dog, perhaps an escaped stray, here to harm everyone. Without thinking much, Alex turned around, ran past a GSD and a husky, and stormed into the cafe. The hooded dog was in front of Amelia! The color on his face drained, as something in his stomach started hurting, itching, and whatever else. It seemed like he was right, after all. Without thinking much, he approached her from behind, angrily grabbed her shoulder, and pulled with all his strength, trying to turn her around.
You! Just who are you?!

[D-Singer]

The three of them were about to walk inside, but before they could enter, a black and white cat dashed past the three dogs with alarming haste. Marshall caught the door that had been practically thrown open by the cat and held it for Natalia to walk in. “What’s his problem?” Blood thought as he entered The Wall, following behind Marshall. His question was answered as soon as he set foot inside.

Stevie was standing about three feet from a cat that fit the given description of her friend. To the coydog, it looked like they were starring each other down…something he had seen many times before, and from experience knew that it rarely ended well. The black and white cat that had rushed inside, was now directly behind Stevie. With one paw he took her by the shoulder and tried to turn her around to face him. Then angrily demanded.

You! Just who are you?!

Blood crossed his arms and watched only about ten feet away from the scene unfolding. There was obvious tension between these pets. From his point of view, he hoped that nothing would escalate into a fight or get him involved, but he knew it was pointless for him to ever hope for anything.

I knew she was trouble from the start. Even that cat has a bad feeling about her. Natalia thought amidst a feeling she has never felt before, jealousy. When she saw 'Pyxis' and saw how good looking she was, she felt threatened, mostly because Marshall seemed not to care about her earlier warning.

All the while, Marshall stood beside Blood, feeling the tension that were flying out between the dog and the two cats. A tension that was familiar to him, yet in this situation, was distant.

Upon seeing that Alex had arrived and grabbed the unknown figure by the shoulder, Brian decided to leave The Wall posthaste; he could tell that something decidedly not peaceful was going to happen, and with Alex around to protect Amelia from any danger, Brian felt no obligation but to run back to the Dewitts' house and protect himself. He knew he'd be safe there.

Jance pointed to a garbage can, "I think it goes in there, and um, as for where I live" He points outside the coffee-house, down the street and says, "I live in the fourth house on the right" he purred softly, shifting in his seat, seemingly starting to relax.

Magnus dropped his books and hurried to the kitchen after Cier scratched his paws, digging through a bunch of drawers before successfully finding the one holding their first aid kit. He grabbed it, rushing back to the living room, nearly tripping over the felled table in his haste. He set the little white box set to Cier, and went over to help Wynn with the bookcase. Together, they pushed it upright, and Magnus begain stacking books on it, not in any particular order. Suddenly, a new black cat walked into the living room from the bathroom, and Magnus looked at him, confused. Where had the cat come from? And where had Felix gone? He stared at the cat for a minute, suddenly getting the feeling that he was familiar... but he couldn't place it. He started picking up more books, tail wagging slightly as he concentrated at the simple task.

Felix looked at his injured shoulder, thinking, then sighed and went back upstairs to Edie's room. He located her closet, and pawed through the few pieces of clothing hanging in it. A raincoat... not appropriate for the sunny day... A thick, knitted-wool sweater... too hot for that (besides, it was an absurd color of purple)... A bright orange, fleece jacket. Hmm. Not too heavy, and possibly understandable to wear in the weather, or so he assumed. Felix looked at it with interest, hesitating, before grabbing it and trying it on. Though he was taller than his sister it still fit, and he pulled at the fabric, trying to get it to settle right. He hated the confined way it made him feel when he wore it, as though his movements were being hampered, slowed down. He scowled for a moment before heading back to the bathroom and checking the jacket out in the mirror. It didn't look insanely stupid, though it was bright orange, and besides that, it nicely covered his injured shoulder. The sleeves were long enough, as a bonus, that he could pull them down to hide his bad hand, if he needed. He grumbled, leaving the bathroom, going back downstairs to stare, somewhat icily, at Cier. "Happy?" he asked, tone crisp and somewhat harsh. He was getting to be in a bad mood.

Meanwhile...
Pavelle had to resist smiling profusely when Christopher randomly started rhyming. Instead, she covered up her giggles by making coughing noises. Her laughter died away as Rav opened the window, allowing Tory to come in. "Hey, Tory," she said, still smiling, then asked, as Rav had, "What're you doing here?" She frowned a little, looking at the door, as if she expected O'Connor to come in the room next. He didn't. "Is everything alright? Is O'Connor okay?"

Amelia was shocked to see Alex suddenly grab Stevie by the shoulder. "Alex! Stop!" She gave a slight push to him to keep him at a distance. Amelia turned towards stevie again so that they were eye to eye again, A short pause passed before burst out laughing. Stevie smiled as they both hugged each other. "Its so good to see you again...it's been forever!" Amelia said forgetting about Alex and Brian. Amelia and Stevie broke away from each other and laughed. "I thought I would never see you again..." Amelia said as she took another sip of lemonade.

Dylan gripped on to Venisons fur. "Well I hope you take it easy, I'm been battered by another dog already. Dylan was taking no chances with Vension, he was praying that the dog had no hard feelings.

Pyxis nearly died from laughing, Djinn getting caught in a tape trap was a classic. "Hold on, you should already know how this works." Pyxis once again yanked on the tape to free Djinn. "Oh...this is a little tough..." Pyxis with all his strength flew backwards as the tape broke free from Djinn's paw.

"Ah, thanks, I think I'm going to go take a walk or something. thanks for the muffin thing." she said tossing the almost full coffee cup into the large bin looking thing. "want to walk, or are you happy sitting here?" she asked causally walking backwards and looking at Jance. Sekhmet bumped into someone behind her with a little "oof"
turning around and saying "sorry, sorry" she looked at who she bumped into, a dog with a black coat, and was walking with the cat she met earlier. "Sorry" she said again raising her paws, didn't want any trouble.

'Instinct huh? They seem like long lost friends from the sounds of it." Marshall remarked to Natalia. "I personally thought that she was good looking and friendly before you "tripped" and leaned on me, maybe you're jealous of her looks?"

"Jealous? Of her? I.." Natalia tried to say something but whatever that something was, it never came out as it seems that her initial suspicions were wrong.

"Just admit it, You are jealous." Marshall continued to prod her for her to admit, grinning all the while.

Natalia was blushing now, never before had she been so embarrassed at a simple mistake such as this, all the more so by the one whom she normally teases and embarrasses. "Just you wait until we get back home." Natalia replied, sending out a martial arts sparring challenge in the process.

"Still not admitting it? Very well." Marshall chuckled at her attempt to change the topic to a challenge and agreeing to it.

Blood sighed, it wasn’t the first time he had been surprised in such a way. At least now he was relieved that the tension turned out to be nothing more than shock and excitement between two old friends. He could relax now that all that seeming tension was gone, well most of it anyways. Now Marshall and his jealous husky friend were arguing. He knew females to always be competitive, nothing new there. “Better watch your back Marshall.” Blood said with a small smile, his voice a mix of both seriousness and mocking sarcasm.

[Buckdida]

Venison waited as the mice crawled up his arms onto his shoulders. It was honestly a very creepy feeling; Venison shivered and his ridge stood up slightly as they climbed through his fur.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Venison."

"Uh, yeah. Hi." Venison tried to shift his head away from Del, giving her a slightly unsettled look as he did so. He wasn't sure about carrying mice around.

"Well I hope you take it easy, I'm been battered by another dog already."

Venison felt a gripping of the fur on his left shoulder. "Don't bite me or pull out any fur, and you got a deal," he said, bearing his back teeth slightly. "Now hang on. I'm already slow enough, so I'm not going to slow down for you two."

Venison limped out the door before Felix returned to the still messy living room.

"Alright. Here's the deal," Venison explained as he limped across the street, "Sara, for whatever reason, wants to get me a new collar. So we're going to the pet store while the others-"

"Hey! Venison! Wait up!"

Venison came to a sudden halt, cringing his shoulders slightly. 'Let us see...voice voice voice...Lucky.'

Venison tried to turn his head to see, but Dylan was in the way. Venison sighed and gave an underhand "catch up" motion behind his back as he kept limping towards Sara's car.

Running up behind Venison, Lucky waved so he could be seen as he caught up. "Hey, I just wanted to say... you may not have noticed but I kinda bailed yesterday when things got hot and... I wanted to apologize to everyone."

Rav come up an noses at the bird, tilting his head off to the side.
Why do we need to get out of here?? what has happened?? come-on spill it Tory.
Rav asks insistently.

Christopher looks over at the Red bird..
An whos free ranging pet are you? he ask Tory..
An he grins coyly at the sputtering bird..

Cier nodded to Magnus as he brought the first-aid kit. "Thank you Magnus." He carefully opened it and began tending to his injured paws, wrapping them in long white bandages.He looked over at Felix as the raccoon returned once again. "Much better.""he said before returning his attention to his paws. When he was done, he put everything back into the kit and closed it, before heading into the kitchen, where the larger dog had come from. Luckily, Magnus had left a few of the drawers open in his haste, and it was easy enough to find the one the first-aid kit belonged in. He closed all of the open drawers and walked back into the living room, where Magnus was piling books on the shelf and Wynn was attempting to get the organized without getting in the big dog's way. Cier began returning the other things that had been knocked over to their proper positions.

Del smiled as she heard Venison's 'terms'. "Don't worry, I'm used to being carried around." She said as Venison limped out to the street. She turned to look when someone called out Venison's name, to see an unfamiliar dog walking towards them. He gave a short speech, and Del quickly surmised that he was probably talking about the animal control incident (Int 10).

W-what?
Alex was more than confused about what's happening in front of him. Stevie? And Amelia.... just who is this dog? Why didn't Amelia ever mention her? When were they befriended? So many question, but no answers. But it wasn't bad, actually. Compared to what Alex thought will happen, this is great. He was more than paranoid about the escaped animals. A relieved smile appeared on his face, followed by sighing.
Amelia.. who... who is this?

Pavelle smiled as Tory landed on her shoulder, her ears pricking up when the small bird said something about getting her out of the hospital. Rav and Christopher both seemed to notice what Tory had said, as well. The raccoon titled her head forward so she could look more easily at the Cardinal, trying to seem at least somewhat composed, though inside she was suddenly fiercely hoping someone out there was coming to get her. Even though she knew she'd be out of the hospital by the morning, she'd still much rather be home, and the possibility of leaving early was very appealing. She shot both Christopher and Rav warning glaress that said 'Don't scare Tory with your extremely direct questions', and then turned back to the small red bird. "Tory. Can you tell me what exactly you're talking about?" She made sure her voice was gentle, non-pressuring, letting him decide to tell her or not, whatever he wanted.

Meanwhile...
Magnus cleared sections of the floor quickly, grabbing up and hefting books to the shelf, letting Wynn do whatever she wanted to organize, and likewise letting Cier set up the remaining furniture. They were nearly finished relatively quickly, working as a team like they were, and it wasn't long before Magnus set the last book on the top shelf. He looked around, satisfied at their sufficient cleaning, then looked at Cier. "Now what?" he asked, turning to eye the new cat again. He looked at Wynn as well, suddenly noticing that he didn't know her, either. "And...who are [i[they[/i]?" he stage-whispered to Cier, gesturing with one hand at the feral and cat. Felix's ears flicked at Magnus, and he smiled somewhat gleefully, happy his disguise was good enough to fool the big dog. Of course, Magnus wasn't the brightest, but if it was enough to trick him, it should be enough for people he didn't know.

Tory still felt the pressure from Christopher, and while he wasn't nearly as good at reading people as O'Connor, Christopher's demeanor seemed suspicious. Tory began to look for a way to justify himself, when he saw a newspaper float by in the breeze. Deciding to forget subtlety and do his best to convince Pavelle, he flew out and grabbed it in his beak. Pulling it back in, he opened it up in front of her. "Look at this! They're trying to connect you to the animal control break in!" He then pointed at Christopher. "And he might be involved!" He then pointed back at the newspaper. Blood sighed, it wasn’t the first time he had been surprised in such a way. At least now he was relieved that the tension turned out to be nothing more than shock and excitement between two old friends. He could relax now that all that seeming tension was gone, well most of it anyways. Now Marshall and his jealous husky friend were arguing. He knew females to always be competitive, nothing new there. “Better watch your back Marshall.” Blood said with a small smile, his voice a mix of both seriousness and mocking sarcasm.

"I don't think I'll need to be careful around her. She is really quite harmless." Marshall replied in a calm manner. "After all, I did beat her in spars that we did sometime ago." he added while grinning.

"Is that so? I do remember one time that you actually cried after I sparred with you." Natalia countered, a smile on her face as she thought of the victory over him.

"That..uh..was a cheap shot." said the German Shepherd.

The thought of Marshall being beaten and even crying after sparring with a dog like Natalia made Blood’s smile widen a little, he stifled a bit of laughter. “Right, harmless. I’ll keep that in mind.”

Amelia grabbed Alex's paw and brought him close to Stevie, "oh this is a very close friend of mine." Stevie motioned outside before they were properly introduced. "Actually it seems kind of crowded in here, can we go outside for some air and quiet?" Amelia nodded, there seemed to be even more packed than before and probably this many pets in one spot made Stevie unconfortable.

Dylan nodded his head "uh...yeah no problems..." he said quietly as he loosened his grip. Del seemed rather relaxed on this crazy mutt, so he guessed it was safe for him too.

Running up behind Venison, Lucky waved so he could be seen as he caught up. "Hey, I just wanted to say... you may not have noticed but I kinda bailed yesterday when things got hot and... I wanted to apologize to everyone."

"No, I wasn't. I was hopping around on one foot, if you didn't notice," Venison said, annoyed at Sara's unobservant behavior. "My leg is really sore and has a cut, but that's about it. Can't walk right. A crutch would be nice, but I can make do. I'm fine," Venison said indignantly. But he certainly didn't sound convincing.

I don’t think I’ve ever even eaten at pet-friendly Café before.” Blood noticed that Stevie, Amelia, and Alex had left. “Glad to see that Pyxis found her friend. One more friendly deed for me.” He thought as watched the three leave. Natalia went up to the counter and bought another muffin and handed it to Blood. “Thanks.” He said with noticeable gratitude. After all, it was a rare occurrence for him to be treated as such by another dog, and an almost non-existent occurrence for it to come from one as attractive as she.

Pavelle couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of paranoia settle itself within her, mostly in her stomach region. She looked, for the briefest moment, at Christopher as he examined the paper. Then, just as quickly, her eyes slid over to Rav as he defended his trainor. She frowned a bit, a little at Tory, though the expression wasn't anything angry, or accusing. Just... thinking. Considering. She had read the quote, and it did seem a little strange. But she didn't want to anger Christopher and lose her chances of actually making honest money to help her family. But, she also didn't want to get incriminated for something she technically didn't do. She hadn't actually gone into the Animal Control building, had she? No. Neither had Felix. She smiled a little at the concerned Cardinal, and said, "Tory, don't get too worried over something like this, okay? I'll be fine." Her eyes settled, once again, on Christopher. She continued talking to the bird, though her gaze stayed steady on the human. "It doesn't really matter what the people working around here think, does it? I'm pretty sure they have no real evidence. They can go ahead and check their security tapes, if they want, but they won't find anything against me. And, I think, there couldn't possibly be any credible witnesses to yesterday's happenings, anyway, considering that the only people who could have possibly seen me there, if I had been involved in any way, would be the escaped ferals and strays. And their word certainly can not be taken seriously. Under pressure, I'm sure most of them would tell anyone anything, even if it wasn't necessarily true, if they thought spilling the 'information' would somehow get them out of trouble." She sighed, though continued to smile. Her gaze switched back, reassuringly, to Tory. "If there's no proof and no evidence connecting me, or Felix for that matter, to the occurrances yesterday, there's no way they can legally punish me."
