Re: Another bit of fanart
I don't know if this really belongs here, but i made a quick basic wallpaper based on the image on the housepets-tshirt(rick gave it to me because he's nice :3).
Link because the image is far far too large to embed.(it's 2560x1600)
All it has in the background is a slight gradient, though.

That's honestly greatly drawn, Two_Twig. You're an amazing artist!

I tried another thing, this time not surreal (though I'm making another surreal picture), but (hopefully, don't yell at me if I'm wrong please, I'm not really sure ) abstract Housepets drawing.
I called it Mlugul, you can see it here
It looks like a Transporter accident, I like it.

Re: Another bit of fanart
Aww, I really like how Sabrina turned out, but I'm not sure Fido looks exactly like Fido. I think human Fido would look a little manlier. Still, it's a really nice picture.

Re: Another bit of fanart
Well, how we define "manliness" is strictly opinionated but the main issue is that I don't know exactly how old Fido is. Whether he is 18 or 28 in dog-to-human years I don't know so I tried to keep it a little vagueSleet wrote:Aww, I really like how Sabrina turned out, but I'm not sure Fido looks exactly like Fido. Yes I did make them both different races to reflect their counterpart's species difference. *Shrug* I think it's suitable; also thanks
AND if you look real close you can see that Fido's eyes are in fact colored orange /wahhhh

I like the fact that Fido looks like Michael J Fox meets John Lennon.
(it's probably just the glasses and the hair, but still.)

Re: Another bit of fanart
Sabrina looks really good. Fido does look somewhat off, but I don't know why.
A wonderful drawing by a wonderful artist. I love it!
Also, why are only Fido's eyes and Sabrina's ankh colored in? Is it just aesthetic, is it the connection to their pet forms, or what?

As for criticism nitpicking feedback I have to agree with copper.
Sabrina feels right, she looks like she would conjurer a ghost in her free time, but Fido i'm not see being a top police man.
but those are small nitpicks for how good and realistic this looks and shouldn't be complained about

You know when cops aren't being cops, they look just like regular, ol' non-cop people? Hehe, but seriously I see what you mean. It was only a doodle, but maybe I should have put more thought into it; Oh well, I'm not sure how to work around that right now. I'll have to rework that next time, if there is a next time.Kyderra wrote:As for criticism nitpicking feedback I have to agree with copper.

Re: Another bit of fanart
It takes a lot of imagination to convert a character into a different, yet familiar form.
Usually artists draw human characters as animals (example: anthro and furry).
I'd imagine it takes a lot more creativity the other way around.
I for one count myself in the ranks of those who wish to see more.
Awesome job Two_Twig.
As for Tails' work, who turned on the temporal blender?
Really abstract and crazy drawing.
Fortunately, I like crazy.

I think Fido should have a goatee and a tight shirt on with jogging shorts, but that's just me =P
As for Sabrina, i picture her somewhat like what Two-Twig drew as well, though the eyes would be smaller.
Nicely done pictures =)

Dear Twiggles,
I just wanted you to know that your drawing is probably the best picture I've seen all week, and that I want a pair of glasses just like Fido's.

I really love these humanised HP characters, TwoTwig! And I agree with everyone else, even though Fido may not look particularly Fido-ish (Though an awesomely drawn character in its own right) Sabrina does look spot on! Very well done

I made fourth surrealistic Housepets drawing, called "Not me yet" (I wonder if somebody gets the name).

TwoTwig: That's incredible. I think that's exactly how Fido and Sabrina would look like if they were humans, that's brilliant idea and brilliantly performed. *hugs in humble admiration*

Awesome drawing Tails!
Planet Pepperoni Supreme looks very appetizing.
When Tiger dreams, I bet this is where he goes.
On the side of artistic advice, watch the arm length of the far arm.
The length of arm between the shoulders and elbows should be shorter.
Perspective is one of the toughest artistic elements to master.
But of course, practice will only serve to improve.

Zander, that's hardly necessary. By all means have fun, but now you're starting to step into slightly annoying territory. Crop the picture or something, please.
EDIT: RC if you don't mind, fix your post too. Get rid of the pic; it just makes it more to scroll though.

I call you works 'masterpieces' because they ARE: you're the only member who has dwelved into these characters' most intimate nature and did it so WELL! So, no, no exaggerations, here. Just a plain truth: your art has the gift of insight, and it compensates for you not being DaVinci.
