Boris should've accidentally drowned King and had to have revived him. Cartoon resuscitation is a lost art.

you can tell just by looking at him that boris has a lot of experience holding other dogs underwater

It's a reference to the album version of "Let's Get Started On Doing All Those Awesome Things I Suggested" from Strong Bad Sings And Other Type Hits

Wow I don't even remember that reference, and I listened to that song. Hmm.

Anyway, bathing King is aww! And Duchess is not a pleasant person. She'd probably get along with Dionne from Precocious.

Oh Duchess, what HAPPENED to you to make you this way? :( Even KING is happier and more pleasant than you are, and likely would have been BEFORE he was King!

And King, if you really believed in honor, you'd have the honor to tell Fox who you are someday, rather than cling to a lie and an incomplete friendship. :|

Anyway, I like it. :) Shows the personality differences well.

i'm surprised King didn't drowned Brois has big muscles, i think it would have been funnier if he lifted King up for air, but that's my opinion.

side note-'scrubadubdub; now get in the tub!' that's what my dad would always tell me, like it was supposed to be comferting or something, it's a command mixed with a rhym, who else has heard their parents say that?

Settle down, boy. Who says he won't tell Fox?

I didn't say he wouldn't. ;) :|

Also, it occurred to me this could be a test of King's character: if he really considers honor, reason, and compassion to be things to look for in a dog, is he ready to go along with betraying those for the sake to talk to Bailey more often? I get the feeling that Bailey and Fox wouldn't want that.

Stop me if this has already been asked, but. Is it safe to assume either a or b:

A: Boris lives with the same family as Duchess.
B: Boris is currently in Duchess's employ.

I'm guessing B.

he called her mistress at the begining, which leads me to believe their together as a couple and that she's only manipulating King to win the pageant

Mistress doesn't usually imply a couple, more of a servile role, so I say he's working for her or her family.

oh now i see it, i didn't think much of it, i didn't really like Boris from his first appearance helping Bino bully King, also i hope this isn't a redundant question but what happened to the scar on his left shoulder, it seems Mr. Griffin is cutting corners

So far it's looking to be dogs only. Not to say Cats aren't Loyal, but whenever Loyalty is brought up, it's usually the strongest subject of Dogs. Cats usually go for the Trust.

Would be funny to hear some cat comments on the contest though. X3

I figure that Grape would have a few things to say about pageants and the animals who participate in them. Most likely something along the lines of them being overly pampered, pretentious pups. :p

It doesn't take that long to adapt. I legitimately felt slightly awkward taking my collar off around Rick. *giggles*

Wearing a collar for 14 hours is hard enough. Wearing one for 24 would be pretty painful.

Unlike King, who has fur to make sure his collar is nice and comfy.

Not tag collars, so that is what passes for fancy.

Border Collie, huh? Yeah, I can see that. Poor King, no one ever pays attention to him...

The alt. text is hilarious in it's nonsense!

I was referring to actual dogs, not the ones in Housepets.
I'm pretty sure no dog actually has bulging muscles and six-pack abs.
