At the end of the Temple Crashers 2 arcs, provided the world isn’t destroyed and said characters live, Thomas (the curse having been broken and having learned an important lesson) will join Keene’s battle for animal rights.

The next "Imaginate" .... Dante's Inferno !!

Breel is actually Keene's long lost biological brother.

Seeing how Breel is holding up The Forgotten's hand, I'm imagining something like this happening.

The demon will return with Keene, and when he does, he will turn into a regular animal of some kind.

Or he will remain in that form and become Keene’s assistant, trained by Karishad.

Jeeves will secretly support Grape and Max after this arc because he likes Max so much now.

rick has said on twitter something big would be coming, so lets guess on that.

-Tarot gets taken by the forgotten in Breel's place. She came out of nowhere, fitting that she goes back to it
-Tarot dies, but becomes a Celestial. Peanut's cool with it and they still date.

Keene takes over hell, and refuses to leave because he can't take breel with him without The Forgotten coming for them again.

The Forgotten is either completely or partially successful in reaching the mortal plane. Everything is forgotten. The series reboots.

OR

Only what it was able to reach is reset, and since Max wasn't present, he'll be the only one who remembers the original timeline.

...I'm pretty sure I'll be varying levels of upset with the former, somewhat with the latter. But ultimately, what's important is waiting to see how things play out.

Yeah, reboots usually go sour, D-Rock. But it's Rick's world .....

probably because, they're usually being done solely so the writers can re-tell stories they've already told over again for more money (what happens to movies and games a lot), it's an in universe event that there's no logical justification or an extremely flimsy justification (happens mostly in games and comics), or the reboot doesn't really reboot anything as the old canon is gradually retconned back in defeating the purpose of the whole exercise (DC seem to love doing this).

'there's a price to preventing armageddon' is pretty much the only justification for this kind of thing that, at least i personally, accept.

as long as it's done in a way that actually makes sense in universe, doesn't show signs of having been thrown in hastily for outside reasons, and there's no built in 'undo button' or followed by a mess of lazy reset-the-reset type retcons, I'm fine with it. basically, if you want to do a major world changing event it needs to be meaningful, and it needs to STAY changed regardless of it that change is for the better or worse.

Not that this is really the thread to be discussing this in, but Rick has also even lampooned the retcon, so I really can't imagine he's planning on doing this himself.

You know, I recall two games in the Shin Megami Tensei series that had a supporting character fuse himself with a demon (first was purely for power, the second was to save the demon's life and get revenge on the person forcing their fusion), suddenly got the thought in mind for that happening with Keene and this little demon.

The demon dude when he comes to earth will be another black cat.

He's in Pandemonium so he must have been forgotten... And ponbon was sent into the future and was forgotten by everyone so... That is a possibility

Wasn't sure where to post it, so I'll say it here: I want a mini-arc after this current one showing what King and Bailey were up to during all this Temple Madness. I get they were just pawns, but it still feels like a wasted opportunity not getting them to join the party, since it would have brought things full circle with King's involvement in the game...

If Thomas is stuck as a camel, I can envision a scene where King is pulled in to at least give advice to another ex-human.

.....or officiating at another wedding!
