Chat Thread 41: Mod Maker

Just a reminder, when the page count hits 49, I'm gonna make a poll for the new chat thread name. So far we have:
- Chat Thread 42: The Forumite's Guide to the Internet (Mickey the Luxray)
- Chat Thread 42: For talk of Bacon only (Me)
- Chat Thread 42: Dermatologists Hate Us! Click to Learn Our Secrets (Kateleo007)

If you have a (serious) suggestion for a name, post it before the 49th page!

Edit: Oh, it seems I was the first post of the 49th page. Oops.

In that case, I think we can give 24 hours from the time of this post. After that I'll make the poll.

I love Monopoly, but can never get anyone to play it with me. They all complain that it takes too long. Another one of my favorite games is 1313 Dead End Drive. I love that game so much, it was like Mouse Trap, but you would actually want to play the game instead of just set off the trap. I never play board games as much as I used to, don't think I played any in the past 3 months.

I used to play 1313 Dead End Drive. I don't think I have the game anymore though, was probably donated long ago.

I have 1313 Dead End Drive! Actually I two copies of it at the moment.

This is a good point as well. But what if the computer becomes sentient and does some weird Star Trek movie stuff and becomes sentient and attacks?

Settlers of Catan is great. Try to get the Seafarers expansion!

I like Dominion very much. Especially with one or two expansion packs you have a game that needs a different strategy with every round, because the cards you play with change.
As a card game I like Phase 10. It's somehow like Rummy but with given goals to lay out (same rank or sequence or combination) in each phase of the game.

I actually decided not to include that because 1: Kitch isn't really active in the chat thread. And 2: Even if he was, I'd ask him first before using a name like that.

I'm not sure I'd personally go with that because Red Dead Redemption is far from a forum appropriate game.

We used to play it during our camping trips. And because it's always over so quickly we made it Phase 30.

Yes. I was thinking this since I came here and people were talking about names. I wish I would have said it first now.

I vote what I was going to vote for 43.

Yep. the first one was over a hundred pages I think, then diss started changing it every 50 pages. We've just stuck with that system since.

I thought for some reason that here was limited to like, 6 or 8 options. Now that I look again, it's 10 so I could very well have made the poll here.
