Here's an idea: we start a Toulminian/ Rogerian argument on a separate thread and then let the guy decide from there!

The problem is, there aren't that many girls on the forums to begin with. We might have to have one of the guys maybe try a feminine voice, to see what works.

There's that, as well. Anyone who wants to give a crack at Mrs. Sandwich can. I was also thinking along the lines of if you know anyone who'd be interested outside of the forum, that you could give them a shot.

My girlfriend is trying out some voices for auditions but she doesn't want to be Mrs Sandwich coz she would like to play one of the pets. But i may have convinced her to at least audition for Mrs Sandwich

Calling All Script Writers!
That's professionals, amateurs, novices, wannabes, don't wannabes, etc.
We're in need of some scripting for any and all arcs, but primarily the first "Imaginate"

Scripting is a fairly simple concept:
Write up the script using the comics in the arc as a reference (we want Rick's story to shine through

)
Put in all your lines in script format (ex Grape: blah blah blah)
Put in all the sound effects as well

(ex *chainsaw* *tree falling* *CRASH*)
Then think in terms of no visuals. If you don't think the audience will understand something without the visuals then put something in the script - a new line, sound effect, etc.
If you think something's missing, but don't know how to fill it in, it's fine to just note it in your script.
Note: Do Not send me a script with just the lines from the comic.

When you're done, pm me a copy of the script (ctrl-a, ctrl-c, ctrl-v or cmd-a, cmd-c, cmd-v) <- simple way to copy/paste
I will pull all the scripts and do a super mix and match to create the best script I possibly can (which Teh Brawler will review)
This means that if you have a brilliant idea for just a small part of the arc but can't come up with anything for the rest, I still want your submission, so send it my way

Of course, we can't record this arc until we have Mrs. Sandwich cast, sooooooo.....

I have tried voice acting joey and out of my competitive spirit I have decided to post my attempts.
(Also Arron is involved and I like working with him)

So I will send my work to Mr.Kirby

I can't post an audition...I auditioned over Skype. If you are truly adamant that I do so, I'll do an audition again. However, you will have to pick the strip and tell me which one it is, so that we're both saying the same thing.

The filling of the head positions doesn't alter any part of the auditions process. Everyone still needs to send their auditions to me.

Um, write scripts?

We're not doing a word-for-word transition; there will be some deviation, even if just to accommodate explanations we can't do visually. there's also the inclusion of sound and motion, to help actors and musicians/sound effects people know what to do.

I sent Teh_B a few more auditions a while back. Admittedly most of them were re-recordings just with better sound quality, but I've not heard back. I might try sending them again :p

Actually, (I may be mistaken, but), I believe Tehbs responds to ALL auditions if you got the part or not. So he may just not have gotten to yours yet. On the other hand, if it's been a really long time, it might mean he has lost your audition

I'd check with him before resending.

Ok, after listening to my 'attempts' of 'voice-acting' I came to a conclusion: I am not very good. I need to work on in many things like my talking speed... (It is hard! I know Spanish, English, a little bit of French and some Russian. It is just hard to concentrate in one language). Also I noticed that I have to talk a little closer to the mic.

You never know you may get something

A friend of mine has got the same problem, he can speak English, French and Italian and his accent goes all over the place sometimes
