Joy: Today I'm studying computer animation, that course will be a year and a half.

Sorrow: I'm afraid those bad thoughts about those dead celebrities will forever be on my mind.

Sorrow: Woke up to our basement flooded...well more like the floor was soaked and ended up spending half the morning replacing a connector for the ice machine. Got it fixed and now we're just letting the basement dry out now (Just a few damp areas now).

Finally - got through the vaccine site maze in my state and have our anti-covid shot scheduled!! (Of course, the real trick will probably getting the follow-on shot scheduled within the time period the dose is effective. Nothing is ever simple anymore.)

Flooded cellars are seriously no fun. When we moved into a new home in Arlington VA back in 1987, we arrived to find the basement flooded and had to hold up the movers until we got it cleaned and dried. Owed the kids a trip to King's Dominion for that one. ;)

Well we got it cleaned out (just letting the rugs dry now) and fixed the issue that caused it. What happened was the tube for this broke which caused the issues. Thankfully, we got it fixed and all that's left is the drying out of the few rugs we had down there.

Indeed it is.

I often have those days. I remind myself that, most time, it's something biochemical and will eventually go away. So far, it always has ... but the waiting can be dreary at times.

Maybe I'll outgrow it. ;)

Thoughts fade over time I guess, I suspect the less you worry about them the quicker they'll go.

Sorrow: Because my father never bothered to get up and actually PUT the snowblower together for us before it snowed, we had to manually shovel the driveway ourselves (me and my mother) and I still have a backache from it.

Your dad needs to get his tail in gear and do it, Dayzee, bug him relentlessly this weekend.

Great to hear about your father, DDeer!

Well, the snow came - it's a beauty, just the classic winter scene where the snow is more decorative and purifying than sloppy and nasty. No wind, no rain, and since we've no place to go ... oh ... okay, dear. Missus likes the driveway cleared off before it freezes so, grab the shovel and go.
But it's still quite lovely.

SORROW: Guys, I think I might be targeted by a demon. This isn't like, one of my regular pyschotic attacks, I know when I'm having a pyschotic attack. And unless animals constantly attacking you, having vivid nightmares of satanic images, hearing voices when you don't even hear them (I know I have a mental-illness, and this REALLY isn't normal for me!), seeing a random man in dark clothes constantly pace your backyard every night, feeling pyshical pain whenever I read the Christian Bible or hear the pastor preaching is normal, while, I got news for you, it ISN'T. I hope I'm just having a bout of paranoia, but this has been going on FOR MONTHS NOW. It first started in July of 2020, has been happening when I first joined the forum in November, and hasn't stopped since.

For my part Rydr I would say this, Religion can offer comfort but superstition is another thing entirely and something that can take over your life if you let it. I'm sure you feel convinced that bad things are after you at this point in time and it must be difficult but hold in there things will hopefully turn a corner and you will be able to see things more rationally.

Rydr, you've been really active in the Housepets community since you've joined so that intensity might be feeding and molding the impressions your subconscious is generating.

Whatever their origins, they are clearly making you anxious and unhappy. I would very strongly encourage you to share these concerns with whatever medical professionals you normally consult. You have my prayers and best wishes, friend.
