I've never tried Cheerwine. Lived in the south for.... almost 8 years now, and have never tired the South's most popular drink. Other than Sweet Tea, of course. Also, for anyone that doesn't know; cheerwine is a soda. No alcohol whatsoever.

A&W is only good on tap and extremely cold with little to no ice.

The gimmicky flavors of Outai Dew (spelled that way because those letters deserve love) are better than the original, I think. They're the only ones I'll drink.

Cheerwine? Oh, my stars!

In all my 10 years in the South (the first 10 years of my life, btw) I have never had Cheerwine. In fact, I haven't heard of it until just now. *kicks self* Then again, I lived on a small island off the coast of Savannah, GA (not the "stereotypical south"). The southernmost point of which the beverage is sold is Georgia, according to Wikipedia.

I need to get some of that stuff the next time I go down there, or perhaps order it online. How can such a southern tradition just fly past my radar? *Sigh* I miss those days.

Milk is delicious. Though I find it amusing how selective we are as a species in what animals we'll milk. We drink cow milk, sometimes goat milk, but most cultures never thought to drink dog milk, or camel milk, or what have you.

Now that proposition sounds disgusting, but is it really any more disgusting than cow milk? Cow milk only doesn't disgust us because we already know it's good.

Note that I've never had any of those weird types of milk or anything.

I am a product of the South. I have to have a couple glasses of hot Sweet Tea a day. I also enjoy water a lot. In winter though, it is Hot Chocolate. Sometimes I wish that I could marry the Swiss Miss, I love Hot Chocolate that much.

Sweet Tea is pretty popular nation wide (I love it), although it is very different in certain areas- sweet tea up here is some ten thousand times* less sweet than tea in, say, North Carolina.

Also, never heard of drinking sweet tea hot...

I'm aware, I've just never heard of sweet tea outside of the context of "iced". Hot tea I've had was always more... spice-ful (is there a word to say it has many spices in it? because "spicy" doesn't work) than full-on "sweet".

I once went to Sonic, and I saw that I could add any of their syrups to any drink. I asked for chocolate Sprite- and it's not bad. I occasionally make it at home now.

I went to a restaurant once that mixed up salad dressing and chocolate syrup. Trust me, their chocolate milk tasted a million times worse than chocolate sprite ever could.
