A prototype mobile phone system that deals with information which could improve a student's life and some of its potential uses outside of the education system.

The Make a Wish Foundation really is a good foundation. I heard about this story because it happened in my own backyard:

Erick Martin, who has Liver Cancer, wanted to be a superhero. So the Make a Wish Foundation orchestrated his huge thing for him as Electron Boy!

You had THAT in your backyard?

Looks funny, though sad to hear about the disease.

By backyard, I mean that Seattle isn't that long of a drive from my house. Yeah, it's sad about the kid's disease, but I think it's just plain awesome what they did for him.

What should i do?
My parents don't know about Housepets! (Well, they do, but very vaguely) my dad has seen some of my drawings, and thinks its cool that i draw about something i like. But my mom doesn't know,(Except that she knows i wrote a long story about house pets, but hasn't read it.) and shes the one that will embarras and annoy me about it. Though my friends already know i read Housepets! If both my parents knew, and didn't care, i would draw up a freaking storm here of fan-art.
(BTW, i just got a new HP scanjet 4890 scanner that i could scan my drawings in with)

there are 3 things that could happen:
1. They hate Housepets! and never allow me on the forums again, 25%
2. They dont really care. they dont endorse it or deny it. 40%
3. they like me doing it and think its good to take up drawing again. 35%

I see no reason of why your parents would disprove you using these forums. Though I do not really know how your parents are so I have no real input on the situation, but it would be nice for you to draw more fan-art if all things bod well.

So what should I do to introduce it to them? I'm 14 and they just barely let me play T games. It would be kind of awkward to me and them if I just went up to them and, said " yeah, so I like this anthropormorphic comic online and I want to draw pictures of the animals to show other people online".

Any ideas?

that's exactly what you should do.

*coughcough*

Jokes aside, I don't see much reason why they would dislike this, I mean, this IS PG-13.
and... yeah.

I would just draw stuff, then if they bring it up explain it, and mention somewhere in that explanation that it is PG-13.
Soo yeah. that's what I would probably do.

and possibly doing. maybe. I'm not really drawing Anthro's much.

I'd say let them know about the comic, but not the forum. If they are not familiar with how family-friendly this forum is, they can make a (pretty fair) false assumption that this is not a place for a 14-year-old. Unless you expect them to carefully observe what goes on here (and are OK with that), I'd just say the art is just something you're making for fun.

Show them Better Days and the Something Awful forums and if they realize you're neither fan nor member of those you can show them pretty much everything else you like and they will like it in comparison.

Thanks, that's exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to draw a HP character and if my parents ask I'm going to throw something heavy at them and tell them to "SHUT UP!"
an again, thanks for the idea! :D

for real, thanks for the help. I'm going to go draw now.

@sleet: I don't think they'll care much about the forums, if you've ever played toribash, or visited their forums. I've been there for 2 years.
And they even have a section in there forum for posting stuff that would get you insta-permanently banned here. (though they neve knew that *cough*)

and anyway, it's not so much the rating that bothers me as it is the embarrassment of doin. Girly things like write fanfiction or draw fanart. The girls like talking to me About what I lik to write about, but the other boyslaugh at me fo doing it. Kind of like grape when she's writing a fanfiction on the roadtrip and peanut looking over her shoulder.

And to say... Just for the sake of it.... I am a fan of better days. But not a member of there forums.

Great, Now my fingers hurt form typing this on my iPhone.

And apparently he makes all the toys, but a lot of children get toys with trademarks on them. Santa would get sued big time by these companies.
