Sorrow; Sunday I had to go in to cover for an employee and almost lost my job. kind of hard to explain (because I can't say much), but I locked the keys inside a case. This also led to a co-worker punching me in the arm multiple times.
Sorrow: I now have to deal with the situation with my co-worker, though I reported the issue, I also got in a shouting match with them, which led to making my job now too difficult to work with them.
Joy: While I am sure it doesn't look good for me, I wasn't fired or coached for locking the keys up, and my manager didn't shoot down my mentioning of being a manager, I even got advice on how to go about applying.

Sorrow: Haven't seen any snow yet. Aside from the few flakes I saw on the 29th that didn't really reach the ground.
Sorrow: It's about +10°C and not around -5°C or colder as it should be in January.

23F with 49% humidity. I am surprised the water in the air is not freezing on everything. Although it is 26F with a windchill of 17F, it's not supposed to snow here either. Such sorrow.

sorrow : the mice on my house are driving me nuts , they chewed of my internet line the night before , I got it fixed yesterday , and this morning I found out they chewed it off , AGAIN !! What do you have against internet Jerry ? :x

annoyed : the school which I'm on probation is gonna have a field trip for its students soon , and they forced us to go with them , the fee is nearly 2 milion VND , which is a rather sum of money , especially for us college students , and I'm on the "poor side" among my friends as well. They said that nyone who isn't going will be kicked out and have to find another school for their probation . Normally this would be the point I give in , despite knoeing I'll suffer a lot , but now my mother isno longer as well as she used to be , and her sickness could strike again anytime with no arning signs , and my sister is in her final year in high school , I can't leave them 3-4 days in a round just for something like this :x

Perhaps you could coat your wires with rat poison?

In my opinion, field trips should not be mandatory, especially if they cost money. :( But if you have to do it, you may as well try to make the most of it. Take lots of pictures and try to enjoy it.

I honestly don't think I can though , it more about what might happen when I'm not home for those few days , last time when my mother got sick (couple of months ago) , I was the only one home with her at the time because my sister wasn't home from school yet , and the doctor said if my mother were to be hospitalized any later , she probably wouldn't have recovered , that was in an evening , now imagine that happen again ,with me going on this trip , and my sister not coming home til 9PM.....yeah I don't know about you ,but I honestly can't leave her like that ^^'

If only you had a cat like Sabrina. ; 3

That is a dilemma. Perhaps you could have someone stay with her while you're gone to make sure she's ok?

I feel like probation doesn't mean free under watch after committing a crime. But I could very well be wrong.

I think probation is supposed to mean a trial run, or sitting in on classes, rather than the criminal definition - right?

Serence is studying to be a teacher. So I think this is her equivalent of an internship or practical work.

Joy: So, whilst listening to my professor talk about what this research course is going to be about, she takes us to her website and shows us a list of links that will there to give us more information about what an Incremental Game is and the kind that we will be working with, and one of the sits listed was Reddit. Like, I doctored professor told us to look at Reddit for information to use in a college class. My mind was blown.

Usually, I would put the names of something in a randomizer and choose what to do randomly, but I don't think you would wanna do that with 104 games.

Joy: My sister is pregnant with her second child. 8-) She has an 11-year-old boy now, and she's having a girl this time.

There have been concerns, though. She had a scare last month that made her think she was miscarrying, but it turned out to be nothing. A couple weeks ago, her OB said there was a chance her baby may have Down syndrome (probably because she's in her late 30s, and it tends to be greater risk for older women), but my understanding is that it's been ruled out now.

Sorrow: I have been run down lately. I have a feeling it's partly work-related with the finishing of my site's remodel. Currently overseeing computer installations. It's manifested physically as a sore throat, which is adding to sinus congestion.

Hopeful: Putting in for a promotion at work. One of my immediate bosses got a development job downtown, and I'm putting in to replace him.
