Also awesome news. Earlier today I told my mom I watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and she agreed to watch an episode.

For males, I usually recommend Fall Weather Friends, but there are so many more options when the person is a female! Suited for Success is pretty popular, so maybe that? Unless you're worried she'll question your masculinity, 'cause it's a fairly girly episode.

I showed my brother Equestria Girls. He said something about me being stupid, then asked me to turn it up, then shook his head and mumbled something about losing respect for me. But he watched the first 10 seconds-- and that's a start!

It's also the first "real" episode, so it doesn't require much. I probably agree with that idea for a first episode.

Thanks for all the suggestions. She's a big fan of the '90s cartoons like Darkwing Duck, Animaniacs, and Goof Troop, so I'd been considering showing her Party of One or A Bird in the Hoof, but I will definitely consider these suggestions.

Yeah, he does. All he could focus on was showing her the musical number and Fluttershy going crazy, not something actually showcasing the character dynamics! You know, like Dragonshy, or Fall Weather Friends.

She thought it was cute. She laughed at a couple things, such as Rarity smashing the glass slipper. But otherwise...
