This is honestly a lovely place to have a balcony, where you can just sit outside and watch your surroundings.

I never had a balcony in a house before. The closest was when my aunt lived in her apartment with the stained glass window in the living room. That had a balcony.

small little update

27
April 1995

when i do build the sandwich house it may look a little wonky at first due to the shadow looking like a backsplit house but in housepets 5000 bc it does not really have characteristics of a backsplit type house (but i also have never lived in one so im not exactly sure) so over the course of time here, i may make some little changes to the house.

Though it still might take a bit of time for him to actually get it all done. There is a LOT of detail he needs to put in.

To be honest, I think this may be the first time we see a basically full scale Babylon Gardens. It’s fitting that it’s the final strip too. Though I agree, it looks like it would take an eternity to build.

so i got the layout if the sandwich house done a couple weeks ago and started putting up walls then stopped for a while. anyways tonight is the night i finish this house once and fir all because... we turn in school issued tabletas tomorrow which is what i use to take pictures. so what i get done tonight is probably gonna be the last few pictures of until september when we get back to school and get new tabletas. also about the picture that posted last on the comic as an overview of a neighborhood, the houses seem similar to a little neighboorhood i was building near babylon gardens so i guess i can connect them together and say its all babylon gardens. and maybe i can like describe the housing i will build over the summer.

(note to any future owners: this house may or may not come with a cow)

I like the way you have built this house! I honestly wouldn't mind having a cow because of fresh milk so that could be a plus!

I admire the house also.

A close-by neighbor named Charlie Green had several cows - I was in awe of them when I was small.

Charlie had a very Yankee sense of humor. One time when one of the cows was vocalizing a lot, I asked him, "I wish I knew what she wants to say."

He said, "Yeah, it's too bad. All animals actually speak english - but they have limited vocabularies and really thick accents."

Great work.

Can the cow be moved to a barn or does it have to stay in that specific room? 🐄

i guess you could build a barn in the backyard for the cow. thats similar to what I did for maggie-moo at my house.
or maybe there could just be like, a barn area in the town for animals.

I just don't think I should keep the cow in a house where I would be in close quarters with it all of the time. They probably would start smelling at some point. Especially since they would poop and fart a lot. :|
