You know, from the last left-side panel, I can’t tell if Marion is blushing because the fact that he is still a female is embarrassing to him because he wants to be male again, blushing because he likes being a female squirrel or from thinking that he would revert back to his male gender after agreeing with Keene.

I honestly don't think Marion needs one of those since he doesn't have much in that area. I can't see Rick drawing them for the PG-13 rated comic either.

Some people want to work in the medical profession but they don't want to actually be doctors. I assume that Marion thinks he can do better as a nurse than a full-fledged doctor and I can understand that.

…this does actually make me wonder why, though. Marion’s mom reacted poorly to his transformation, are we to imply he got kicked out? Lois mentioned inviting Marion over to her place for Christmas dinner, so it seems like her parents were much more accepting of her change. Maybe being in the ECP required a mandatory housing change? Keene was basically using everyone, so maybe that made him look better?

It did seem like his mother had a hard time with accepting her new squirrel daughter. But in the same comic she snarked at him for being sarcastic to her. I think she did but Marion decided to move into the ECP house in order to learn to use the squirrel body.

You know, now that people are mentioning it, that is a good question. No one has mentioned this third option, but it's possible that one of their families actually adopted her as a pet or something. It really isn't clear though.

They might be living in the ECP house just because they were members of the ECP program when they first changed, and are only now going to be able to leave it now that they can legally declare themselves to be the same people they were before they changed.

You know, now that you mention it, considering that Marion had a lot of people vouching for him, no doubt Lois was seen being changed, and even more people being transformed in the time leading up to the start of this arc, why were rights suddenly being withheld?

I chose to believe that it was because people aren't all that good with change. The only reason why things changed was do to Marion's reward. Though the less said about that the better.
