Yeah, gloating is just one of the little things Keene does. Balances off the self-pitying episodes. Flaws make us human, I guess.

Yeah, if now he chooses to become a citizen like the other animals who want that, he's subjected to laws, and he well knows to have done crimes... Keene, he really likes to be there, after all, eheh. Not identifying genders, their expressions tell me the male hyena is a former human who is not used to being part of a species dominated by women. Maybe a caretaker or visitor who got grabbed by the girls there

Safe to say that after Res finds out about some of the world being changed into animals and that there is possibly a few people close to him that are the same species as the characters in the books he might meet up with them to get some more inspiration or maybe ask them to star in the movie adaption.

I know it's being treated like a joke, but I can see this being a weirdly touching story of Thomas realizing that there's only ever been one person in his life who's really cared about him, and it's Sofia. It took losing his humanity to find someone who treats him with basic human dignity.

I think that was supposed to be intentional so we know that he is still the same consciousness he was back when he was still a dinosaur. However at least in this form he is less evil and murderous.

You know it's a funny coincidence, the thought that was going through my head that prompted me to go check if there was a new update today was that there would be humans who had been turned into animals who wanted to go the opposite direction, and become either wildlife or pets...

...and that's basically the decision Thomas has made here, to become wildlife, rather than attempting to reintegrate into human society as an animal.
