All I can say is... AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

So they won't be back to being mortals, but they will have attachment to mortal life, now. So Kitsune was right after all.

So there are words he can’t ignore,
even when they’re from another.
It helps to prove he’s now a ‘good boy’
as Pete gets to talk with ‘his mother’.
She taught them lessons, she really did.
She gave them hints how to proceed.
She showed him the truth of love
is putting others ahead of your own need.
So we’ve reached the major epilogue but
the story’s not done for Kix, I feel.
I wonder if we’ll see more this week
and what their Christmas might reveal?

Love the tender moments like this the most. Kix is such a good mother, and it's beautiful to see Pete recognizing just how special this bond is
Though I also feel really bad for Kix, having to watch her kits grow up far too soon. Maybe they'll go back and finish out a lifetime

muffins and cookies it, Rick... You somehow made me feel sympathetic toward Pete. You really are one talented writer.

What an incredible journey.

(Also, I 100% understood the reference in the page title.)

Dragon still needs her moment with Kix. Maybe afterwards: “Come on, Pete, it’d only be a few dozen years…”. Cut to Craig and Draig opening presents while Kix and Kitsune watch happily? Maybe?

Looks like Kix is gonna overlook the fact that Pete and Dragon are gonna get revenge on Kitsune for his actions. I have a feeling after putting up with him as a mate she thinks he deserves everything coming to him. LOL

Oh, there's Kix again, good that she survived, being the only remaining one of the group, actually. :| Aww, at least, Pete, and surely also Spirit Dragon, still remember of their short mortals life as Kix's kits... Kix is still your mom, somehow, she doesn't forget it and she's important for you. :D Pete changed so much, good for him. ;) All together, do the necessary action to bring back to life those who got killed by Eudoant and bring back the things as they were on Earth. :)

It is as the good saying goes " you don't have to be related by blood to be a part of the family." For what it worth this is a good way to wrap things up and a reminder that there is someone that truly care for you and wants the best for you. Perhaps it a close relative, a friends mom or dad, a coach, a teacher, a professor. Take out the time this holiday to go thank them and let them know that they meant something to you. I can't even begin to tell you how much an impact it really make in their lives and to reconnect with you is truly a moment to cherish. Don't forget them and let me tell you, you are all amazing and I am honored to be here. Happy holidays!

Actually from what it looks like there, Kix just wanted to know what was gonna happen ext now that they were back to their demi-god forms. If they do choose to leave then at least Pete was willing to say goodbye and how much he loved her as his mother.
