Keene should realise by now that every time he tries to understand anything related to magic, he ends up almost dying. It's like the twelfth time or something. I lost count.
Breel is always a win. I am interested by the idea that he's presumably able to think of insults and such (as it was not stated otherwise) but he chooses not to say them due to his fear of hurting other's feelings. I think that's actually kind of sweeter and nicer than just being completely unable to have negative thoughts. Shows he cares about people.
Keene seems used to Breel's antics at this point, and vice versa. I can't imagine what kind of wacky adventures they get up to off screen.

Here they are, Keene and Breel in the sub-basement, still running and hiding from NegaBreel for all this time... Eheh, it's not necessary do such questions about NegaBreel, he's just Breel's negativity, nothing else with being ugly and dumber, which he isn't showing. He's smart and took Keene, instead, just to tease Breel! Huh, I wasn't expecting a such reply at that, Breel, you're not on a social network. It won't fix anything against that dagger on Keene's neck, and neither an insult would... The ones upstairs aren't hearing nothing, as seems.

Breel probably COULD have been proficient with weapons in the past but because he has been in Heaven for so long he forgot how to. Plus he probably didn't feel the need to ever do it again.
