In a manner of speaking, to my understanding. That’s just how Phoebe and Nightmare’s eyes are. However, they fuse into Phobia, in which Nightmare is in control hence the eyes changing to theirs, when Phoebe becomes terrified of something enough.
“Control” being a relative term here. Nightmare’s disposition depends on Phoebe’s mental state. The more frightened she is, the more wild and uncontrollable Nightmare becomes. If they merge into Phobia, absolutely no one is safe, as they become the incredibly violent manifestation of a panic attack.
Nightmare is a demon whose sole purpose is to keep Phoebe safe. Circumstances will change how far Nightmare is willing to go to do so.
In the meantime, Happy thanksgiving, fellow Americans! Mirage will just take any reason to have a feast.

As I said before that is one way to torture Sickle. I wanna imagine he's tied up with something he can cut through and is forced to watch this.

Two things I did on my new tablet this week. One is of Yogi Bear (Starting out with drawing Hanna-Barbara characters to ease myself back into drawing) and the other is my signature I'll be placing on future artworks I have in mind. Yes, I did take a pic of them with my phone, heh, only because I'm still getting used to and learning about the software I'm using (Krita).

I want to apologize for lack of content. Work has been draining, and I’ve been really wanting to get more characters introduced to my blog, so I’m using old art for them, maybe with some very minor edits.

Great job on the artwork Sean! It really does look very nice!
Re: Art Thread
I’ve been having these strange dreams lately…
I see several rune stones, five of them bearing symbols I recognized. We’re trying to break Harriet’s curse, and our very long research found that we’d need six of these. They’re created when Harriet makes a genuine connection with another, and considering the fact that she’s forced to be a killer, she doesn’t get many friends.
Vex was the first to gain his, being her boyfriend and the one to really kickstart this search. His showed the feather and torc.
Macabre was next, showing sympathy for a mortal soul trapped in a horrid circumstance. His is the violin.
Ollie is a good kid, compassionate and kind. He already knows what Harriet is going through. His rune shows water.
Nikolai was the first to bother interacting with Harriet, even if it was for his own personal reasons that didn’t mean anything else. Still, once he learned that a way to free her existed, he set out to help us. His is the skull.
I initially hated Harriet for what she was and what she did. For a long time, I made things between us very clear. However, Macabre was able to convince me to help her, as this was something she didn’t want, either. Over time, I began to see a bit of myself in her. I wasn’t always able to control my Beast form, why should I hold so much against someone who literally can’t control her actions when summoned? After opening up to her, finally, my own rune appeared, the horn with ears.
One issue with all of this; these connections must be genuine, otherwise these runes won’t manifest. The rest of us reluctantly agreed not to tell Harriet these requirements, as the danger of this knowledge could ultimately poison any attempts at friends, as there’s the real risk of said friends thinking that Harriet was just using them for these.
Another problem remains; we need six runes, and we currently only have five. We’re still looking for alternate methods to break this curse, should a sixth one not appear.
But this dream shows a sixth one, with an insignia that almost looks familiar, but it’s not coming to me for some reason. Doesn’t look like it’s related to anyone else I know. In the middle is a gem with a heart symbol. This has to represent Harriet’s soul being completed. She’s the only one I know with a heart motif, which was initially symbolizing the fact that she first enacted this curse due to a broken heart.
I pray that this dream is an omen of the future. While we are able to strip the curse away right now, it will be devastating to Harriet. Not enough of her original soul is intact, only really being held together by the power of the curse. If it’s removed, she’ll basically lose all sense of self until enough of her original soul shards return. A grisly fate, even if temporary. We just don’t know how long “temporary” will be. That final heart gem I saw must be what will hold her together once it strips away the curse.
Until we either find an alternate method of saving her, or this final rune stone appears, we have to keep vigilant to keep Harriet from taking another life.

Re: Art Thread
Last year I made a drawing of how I imagined myself in the HP-universe. Now he became my fursona, still almost the same as me, he has zero social skills, has strange musical taste, is a hobby photographer and also loves public transit for some weird reason
Edit: For some reason image insertion doesn't work with Furaffinity, I replaced the link with another one from Deviantart, hopefully that will work, but if people still can't see it, then Dayzee put a link that leads to the image

Thank you. It's not a leather jacket, just a zip-up cardigan that I really like to wear, usually with rolled up sleeves because... I've always loved rolled-up sleeves for some weird reason

Looking great!
Got a new set. Not the happiest with these, ultimately. Don’t do art when tired from work, people! “It is not rare for some individuals to come up to me with the suggestion of changing my appearance to something they refer to as “nicer.” Merely a polite way of saying that they are perturbed by my appearance. Normally, I do not care what others think of my appearance, but one day I too became curious and gave different helmets a try.
Macabre: I have had this one for as long as I can remember. It’s strange, but wearing it gives me some sense of comfort and security. I tend to only remove it around those I’m completely comfortable being around, or when I know I’ll need to gain another’s trust. Otherwise, I don’t see myself leaving this look anytime soon.
Safe Haven: I have once heard of a race of coyote-like mortals whose culture seemed to revolve around masks. This was modeled after some examples of theirs, but I believe it would be more of a mockery to them, as their masks carry deep, personal meaning to them.
(OOC: Based on the species of kyacaotl, from the work, Hayven Celestia, by Rick Griffin and Gre7g Luterman)
Goetia Visage: An attempt was made at a more regal appearance based on the looks and plumage of my father, Halphas. In the end, perhaps it would be better to further disconnect myself from the Goetia families I left, and I hope my father one day does the same.
Guardian: This was an idea from Mirage’s father, Behemoth, in order to further show my alignment to Heaven. Mirage’s mother, Laurana, whom this was modeled after, was never able to decide if the visage was flattering or not. Perhaps a different coloration would have worked better.
Heart’s Love: I’ll never tire of proclaiming my love to Mirage.
Cybernetic: Very loosely modeled after an unusual artificial mortal whom Mirage has encountered twice now by the name of Cyber. He’s proven to be good to chat with.
(OOC: based on Cyberdragon)
Helm of Camazotz: The visage of a dark god of the night, sacrifices, and death. I’ll admit, I have never personally met this god, but I have heard a few tales of how underhanded he could be. Mostly a reminder of when I was offered the role of Reaper, but I have long since declined the role.”

Thanks. Finally got a new ask.
Demon Laurana is fighting is supposed to be Andras, who is listed as the most violent and dangerous of the Goetia demons. Don’t intend to make him a character.

Re: Art Thread
So, you know, Macabre’s ability for Hellfire? The skill that is incredibly rare even for Infernals, and one of the most coveted traits to have?
Discovered completely by accident.
Talked him into trying these peppers we found in a mortal realm. We started with one called a “Carolina Reaper.” It was a tough one for me to swallow down, admittedly, but that was when Macabre spewed out this super-hot purple flame.
Some onlookers recognized it as Hellfire. Apparently it does the same damage to other Infernals that regular fire does to mortals. Thankfully, Celestials have a resistance to it.
Macabre has since practiced with it, and has found some practical uses for it, from helping Nikolai with his forge on occasion, to making s’mores! He’s now working on controlling the temperature. He seems convinced that “cold fire” can be a thing. Well, always worth a shot! www.tumblr.com/askmirageandmac…

Most exquisite work from everyone here! Sorry I missed so much, but I've been absolutely inundated. :/
I've been on the fence on including the final chapter to the Dr. Theta arc, but who knows now if I'll ever get a chance to fix and post it later. This is a summary of Holly's part in the story.
