Another bit of fanart
Re: Another bit of fanart
Nice to see some of the old gang, potatoe ...and what a great job, doing Rick's style and catching his humor. Ah likes it!!!!
Re: Another bit of fanart
Very nice draws, cuddly poetatoe!
Eheh, Maxwell can once again fool his house mate Bino.
Sometimes Tiger takes the role of Bino in staying out meetings, when there's food.
Good work you too, D-Rock, but I wonder why Peanut would be interested in that petition.

Nice drawing D-rock! I never played Postal either, but the Dude sounds like a swell maniac I'd like to have around.
I agree with everyone that you definitely got Rick Griffin's style and kind of humor down, cuddly poetatoe. How long will Tiger try to eat the magic pizza before giving up?
Here's Grape if she were in Animal Crossing. Still never played the game, but I've seen a video or two. Villagers look really funny when they're angry and stomping around.

Oh, my gosh, this is so cute!!
No matter the universe, Peanut will always wake up Grape in the worst possible way.

I drew a lot of fanart and fan comics until I realized that I had never made a drawing with Tarot!

Reminds me of Bluey for some reason. Good though.

Really beautiful and awe-inspiring artwork Nicky and Tinnier! It is all perfect!
Re: Another bit of fanart
Love Peanut Black, a very dynamic drawing and excellent expression, works really well.
Great to see some more art from you Tinnier, like the character of Tarot and this is a great rendition of her, the fur is really well done. Thought she had lost a card at first till I clocked the collar, don't envy you drawing and colouring all those card backs!!

Hope that you do keep up the nice quality of artwork that you post Tinnier! It is really awesome!
Re: Another bit of fanart
So a rather odd commission I was hired for, for Synthwave_Addict on Discord, but intriguing, nonetheless. They’re working on some multiversal fanfic, and here we have Marion coming across his counterpart whose curse was the exact opposite of his. Though this alternate got to have magic, so it still sucks to be him.
Humans are still hard to draw.

Re: Another bit of fanart
Tarot really is quite a card. Makes me wonder if she would ever use her tricks and magic(k) powers to hustle people out of money. Probably not, but these are tough times. Nice work, Tinnier.
In the spirit of the current arc's references to Dr. Strange, this multiversal fanfic sounds interesting. So, this alternate version of Marion got upgraded to a human AND got magical powers. Short end of the stick indeed, though I would miss being able to climb trees in an instant without people gawking at me. Cool drawing, D-Rock!

I really like the work that you have put into this picture Rocky! Wonderful work!
Re: Another bit of fanart
Thanks, everyone! The parallels according to Synthwave run a bit deeper. The alternate Marion was indeed originally a squirrel, and also originally female. But yeah, still sucks to be canon Marion, since he doesn’t have magic. The alternate came from a world that has it in abundance, and still has access to it.
Actually reminds me of a book series I started but never finished years ago. First book had a girl pulled into an alternate dimension by her male counterpart from there. Almost exactly like hers world, but it ran on magic as opposed to technology, even running water was based on incantations. She helped him to seal away an affluent sorceress who tried to use the elementals to control the world.
Second book, the girl learned that the sorceress’ counterpart in her own world, a businessman, I believe, was trying to hijack all communications using a satellite array called “Element,” and with the help of her counterpart, managed to banish the guy. The epilogue reveals that he was banished to the same place as the sorceress, leaving them to team up.
Never found the third book.

Have to admit that it does sound like a really interesting series! You sure that there was a third book in the series though?

Re: Another bit of fanart
Man, I would hope so, with how much of a cliffhanger the two villains meeting was.

Re: Another bit of fanart
Have you tried searching for books by the author before to see if you can find the third book in the series to read? Or is there no third book and the author hasn't written it yet?
Re: Another bit of fanart
In all honesty, can’t even remember the series name. Read these books in maybe freshman year of high school, so about 2006-07.

Re: Another bit of fanart
Sounds like an interesting novel series, D-Rock. That thin line between science/technology and magic is a fun concept to play on.
I remember Animaniacs. I know they did a new season a few years ago, but I never watched it.
I was on the fence of ever letting this see the light of day, but here's Kevin if he were the Terminator (or Kevinator, Fidobytes model K-901). Fox would be Kyle Reese and Sasha Sarah Connor. I went with Kevin's older character design, as the sequel(s) would then feature his newer design... kinda like how Arnold's appearance changed slightly as he got older between movies.

I really like it, I’m not at all familiar with the terminator, but that art suits Kevin really well.

Really great picture of the Kevinator Nicky! I like how it came out!
Re: Another bit of fanart
Cool draw and idea there, Nicholas!
I hope Kevinator came to protect Sasha.
Have magic is the definitive advantage there, Marion.
Good work again, D-Rock.

Wonder if the Kevinator will be able to avoid pies?

Darktober Day 19 - Witchcraft
“Despite his relationship with Nikolai, Trevor still felt an aversion to various “dark” magic and would refuse to make use of them. While being in a relationship with him voided the initial Celestial-Mortal contract, rendering Nikolai unable to directly give such knowledge to Trevor, Nikolai still thought it would be a good idea to have Trevor be more comfortable with magic in general. It is just a tool, after all. So he sent him to another world, specifically Babylon Gardens, to train under Sabrina D’Angelo, a prominent magic-user and one-time apprentice to Dragon’s (now former) avatar. Sabrina is a good person who knows what she’s dealing with, so Trevor’s in good hands.
Also never knew Nikolai was acquainted with Sabrina. Well, I’m not going to know everything in someone else’s social circles.” …I really need to do more actual fan art between my characters and the canon ones.
