True for the most part. I enjoy the occasional ones like Batman Meets Elmer Fudd and Archie Comics but I'm not really a big comic reader (more into webcomics).

TUBM heard of Hogan's Heroes.

False. Or at least not until now. Typed it into the Google search bar and got a glimpse of what it looks like; seems like something worth checking out.

TUBM has witnessed a well-known historical event in person.

Absolutely true. Unnecessarily terrified of both (well maybe not heights themselves, just falling from them. Apparently they’re completely different)

TUBM is currently binge-watching a TV show they haven’t before.

Hahaha faaaaalse.
About as opposite as you can get, eh?
Though you might know of the city where I'm located, particularly if you read all the "Series of Unfortunate Events" books growing up.

TUBM also lives in a city that was repeatedly mentioned by an author who doesn't live there, in a story that doesn't take place there, for dubiously symbolic reasons.

Oh yes. Used to be the family would take trips into different parts of the U.S. (up here in Canada, to be clear, the U.S. qualifies as a different country  ) almost every summer. Stopped for a while, but then a few years ago we got to visit some parts of Europe!
Would really like to go back and see more but, for one thing, Covid, and for two thing, expeeeeeeensiiive. And I want to see more of the world, which is also expensive. And has Covid for now. So there's all that to consider.

No, but I had all those other "building set" packages, even "Lincoln Logs." `course, back when I was a kid was so long ago, they called them "lincoln Logs" not because you built log cabins with them but because Mr. Lincoln made `em!

TUBM saw and read the multi-page insert in the Sunday Gannett newspapers (USA Today, etc.) on the Legos company.

Not much. My kids introduced me to it back in the 20th century. I enjoyed some of it (Howl's Moving Castle, would be an example, I guess) and, of late I have been enjoying Beastars unitl the more recent strips. (Perhaps, as with Housepets so with Beastars, I tend to want to see more of the original characters rather than the newer cast - More of Bill, Pina, Goshin and Juno and less of Melon, Zagwan, and Kyu; more of Rex, Yelstin, and Daisy and less of Todd, Marion, and Lois.) But that's me.

TUBM just started college.

Well, sorta. In the sixth grade, I bought an aquarium at a school fair and filled it with pondwater. Then I went about capturing lots of different fresh water insects - Water Striders, Backswimmers, Water Boatmen, and larvae of mosquitoes, dragonflies, damselflies, caddis flies, and some others. I built a screen dome over the tank so, if any of them became adults, we wouldn't have them flying around in the house. (My parents, who were very tolerant of "wild things" insisted on that limitation.) Casualties were pretty heavy, but a few dragonflies and damselflies survived to become adults, and gain the reward of a free trip to release in the backyard.

I never had a Praying Mantis pet but some of my friends did. We also had a family of Golden Orb Garden spiders behind the garage.
