Thanks D-Rock! Yeah, the folks stuck in between this war can only hope that both sides cancel each other out. ...And I just started watching Halo out of curiosity (and nostalgia having poorly played against my friends ages ago) and learned that the "Blessed One" is a term used in that series.
Fitting attire for the sadistic demoness, D-Rock. And that masked enigmatic entity once again rears its head. At first glance (at ~2 AM), I thought the Razor's Edge was an ice skate and she was going to put Tonya Harding to shame. Hey, the motives of the masked entity are unclear.

Re: Art Thread
Unclear motives always seem to be the worst. Plus the most horrifying.
Re: Art Thread
I actually have no clue what I’m going to do with the Jester. It was initially designed to be the main antagonist of the planned Housepets fighting game, but never got a plot before the idea shifted to focus on Mirage and Macabre, before the game itself was scrapped. I offered to let dusk, a former forum member, use it, but they haven’t done anything with it, and I think they’ve moved away from art as a whole for now.
It’s kind of just, there.

Re: Art Thread
Marduk - Default
Inverse - A new look, same violent demon.
Galactic Landlord - Some are evil for evil’s sake, many are just for profit.
Red Devil - If this is how mortals view him, so be it.
Dear Sister - Gretchen and Marduk were never close.
Envy - One of Seven Deadly Sins.
Dark Hound - Marduk loathes the fact that Barghest was closer to achieving his goal than he was. Think I’m finally done with the series.

Reminds me of the neon signs I'd see in Florida when I was a kid. Nice work, D!

Those pallets really do suit him Rocky! Awesome work as always!
Re: Art Thread
Thanks! I’m just happy to finally get this series done. Moving on to Enhanced forms for a couple of my other characters.

Huntress Harriet
You’ll know when someone is attempting to summon Harriet; she’ll just stop dead in her track in whatever she’s doing, and eventually her eyes become fully pink, at which point she’ll be warped to whoever it was that summoned her. She usually won’t be seen again until after her assigned target is dead.
It is possible to keep her from warping if she is physically subdued for long enough, which is made more difficult due to an increase in her own strength during these moments. So far, only Laurana, Behemoth, Celestial Mirage, and Vex have proven strong enough to stop the process.
Harriet despairs over her lot in this afterlife, even if it is ultimately one of her own doing, and desperately searches for a way to break her shattered soul away from this cursed existence.

Re: Art Thread
I like the way that the drawing came out! Has Harriet ever been summoned for a reason other than killing?
Re: Art Thread
Nope, that’s the sad part.
Re: Art Thread
Well, we all try to do what we're good at.
Re: Art Thread
Untethered Vex
Vex may be a low-class demon, but his raw strength rivaled that of the higher tiers, some even debating he could match the weakest high-tiers. Even Vex viewed this as problematic, as he had a difficult time just going around without breaking something. An Inhibitor Torc was fashioned to contain most of his strength, which proved mostly successful.
However, if for any reason Vex views it as a justified moment to take it off, run.

How many times has he taken it off in the past?
Re: Art Thread
Not sure on how many times, exactly. Perhaps once when he fought back against Marduk, maybe a few times when Harriet needed to be restrained?

Re: Art Thread
Nice work on Huntress Harriet's design. So impassive in appearance, like the ace of hearts in war (the card game). What happens if multiple people summon her at once? Does she decide who has priority?
So Vex's inhibitor is mostly successful. Hate to see what happens the one time it fails during one of his accidents.

Re: Art Thread
Never considered how it’d be if there were multiple summons at once. Not something I see happening, though.
What I mean by “mostly successful” is that Vex is still abnormally strong with it on, like lifting giant boulders and lifting trees by the roots strong.

So he is still strong with it on but at least he won't injure and/or maim someone then? That makes sense.

Do not boop this snoot without consent.

As I said before, that looks like my finger and normally I don't do things like that. So I choose to be part of the good edit. LOL

So you have chosen death. Can't say I blame her, however cute and boopable her snoot is.

Looking great, Hagus!
Baskerville is a lone wolf with a good heart. He lives his life wandering from place to place, preferring to keep to the shadows, but willing to lend a helping hand to those that may need it. Upon learning of the events going on in Babylon Gardens, he opts to help out as much as he can, giving the residents items that could be useful that he manages to find, or pointing them in the direction of rumored artifacts.

Also, Alice in Wonderland art.
Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.” But [The LORD] said, “Yes, you did laugh.” - Genesis 18:15 (NIV).
Re: Art Thread
Pretty neat!
Re: Art Thread
Looks like I've missed some good art, love the boop with alternative endings as well, Baskerville also looks a charming chappie.
Varied characters with some great poses Hagus. I like "random dog" mix, I think I fall into the random mix category! Cody looks a very professional officer type in the drawings, giving me the Starfox vibes.
Great Alice in wonderland art, captures the feel of the book I think, the mad hatter always intrigued me, apparently based in part on the fact that hatters used to use dangerous chemicals which tended to make them a little eccentric (the world needs it's eccentrics I feel).
Been tentatively dipping my hooves into animation, first attempt:

The missus saying complimentary things in public, DD?
Re: Art Thread
Possibly , I am the shy and retiring type, compliments tend to have that effect on me, glad the expression comes through, ears are a great help for expression I find (if you want them known that is !).Welsh Halfwit wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 11:05 am The missus saying complimentary things in public, DD?

Lovely little animation, DDeer! Good work again, D-Rock, and well done with those characters, Hagus. Nice draws, Nicholas and Harry Johnathan.

Wonderful works, guys.
Re: Art Thread
Always enjoy Alice art, and these are very well done. By the way, DDeer, a deer character (a fawn, actually) appears in Through the Looking Glass as Alice's traveling companion for a short turn. It's a very sweet little episode.
So your beguiling deer is a very appropriate entry in this theme - nice animation, too.

Thanks. Yeah, I guess there is a bit more color and cleanliness than Gotham usually has, lol.

Last time I saw a clean Gotham, it was because it was in a world with tyrannical Justice Lords. Justice League Batman rightfully called out Justice Lord Batman for that.

Re: Art Thread
Wowzers! Lots of new cool stuff here!
I like the assortment of characters you got, Hagus. They're all relatable and have quite the personalities, though I think I like Jake the most.
Baskerville sounds like a real team player. Would make a great support character in an RPG.
Very nice depictions, Harry. Alice in Wonderland was quite an interesting story, often not making sense for the sake of not making sense. I can see why Jervis Tetch was obsessed with it. Imagine if that guy did take over Gotham. You would have discounts on hats (like in your picture), tea, and books on Lewis Carroll's work.
Nice animation, Ddeer. She looks so cute.
Why not? A couple more hurrahs for these guys I doodled. I had a bigger story in mind for them, especially Mesektet (https://www.deviantart.com/nleonardo87/ ... -918968296), but... maybe I should quit while I'm ahead.

Alvin Gammel, a young husky pup with a love of many things horror. Despite his upbeat personality, many keep their distance from him, viewing him as the weird kid. Among his few friends is Benjamin the red wolf, whom he met while on a stroll. The hoodie that Benjamin wears was a gift from Alvin
