Not quite. his job was to watch over the game and make sure they stayed within the rules (without blowing up the planet). They were the ones manipulating everything and everyone to achieve their ends.. It's a slim degree of separation but it's there.

I was kind of expecting something like the angels in Dresden Files where heaven is limited in how much it can help mortals because it has to uphold everyone's free will so that choices have meaning.

This is VERY Specific. If he said He was gonna keep everyone as is for now, then i wouldn't have an issue. however, everyone is pointing out that isn't what he was gonna do. Kitsune is scared of abusing his powers, Well, guess what, You're abusing them by not turning them back AFTER we finished what we where doing with the demons.

I'd like to think so, Sky. My problem is that, at some level, he sees them still as their "adult" selves, not as his kits, and, also at their "adult" levels, Gk either enjoys tormenting them and/or doesn't really like Pete and Dragon much at all.

If push comes to shove and somehow Eudoant ends up becoming too powerful, he's gonna need their help, so he'd have to kiss and make up with them for that.

When he first rejected their help, I figured he probably didn't since Demon-Steward wasn't as powerful as he was putting himself to be, but once the bigger bosses come out into the playing field, he can't face them alone.
