[2021/12/24 - Get Over Here]
Title Text: you can't escape the long arm of the...chaos

No, no, Steward, you're supposed to say it like Scorpion.
Faith doesn't change circumstances. Faith changes me.

ah yes, finally, the rarely-used "random people" tag reappears. Except, for the second time, the "random people" are currently animals, unawares of their condition. I like the broken glass effect in the 3rd panel; has it been used before in the comic? Looks more computer-generated to me.

And... I guess this means we aren't getting a Christmas page for the first time, unless there's a surprise update tomorrow.

Pretty sure this isn't the first time we wouldn't get a Christmas Themed strip before. Just shows how dedicated Rick is to Story sometimes.

What I mean is that usually on the 25th there's a longer strip that caps off the current story arc, not that it's necessarily Christmas themed. Knowing what we do about the new upload schedule, and given this page and the state of the story, I guess we aren't getting one of those traditional pages this year. Though, I suppose there could still be a one-off outside the normal schedule, as with 2017.

Well, it took me a moment to work out that's not our Nat there.

As Tarot legs it through
the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’s’ place
they haven’t seen they’ve changed.
All they can tell, right now,
is that the call they’re on
can’t be rearranged.
Have we seen this before?
Is Steward being King Kong?
Or just ol’ Megatron?
She keeps his attention
as she intended.
He’s fallen for her con.

I'm getting shades of Rampage here for some reason.

More oblivious people, I wonder if they still see each other as human. Guess they aren't aware of Steward or the damage he wreaks either. Very dynamic strip.

Even if Steward isn't dragged down to the bad place when this is all said and done he'll still have the wonderful punishment for paying fines for all that property damage. And compensating the undoubtedly thousands of either injured or dead people caught in the crossfire. Or just rotting in a padded cell at the new animal pysch ward that I'm sure the Miltons would be more than happy to finance after animal rights are won.
Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.” But [The LORD] said, “Yes, you did laugh.” - Genesis 18:15 (NIV).

Yeah, I too am also dreading Steward's fate from all of this. I like him too much as a character for him to be banished down there or get the book slammed on him up here. Long shot, but what if he becomes the Celestials new plaything for all eternity? I'm sure Kit could use a new Avatar.... Or he could become Cerberus's 'Chew Toy'.

Given those options, an eternity linking bicycle chains doesn't look so bad .......

Good, they're running down from the building, but demon Steward won't give up to catch them... :? Just Tarot dog is distracting for you? Look what's behind you... :P Also, you must be another one turned into an animal who hasn't still realized of that...
Awesome panels scenes, anyway. ;)

So I know that Eudoant's magic makes it so other people don't see themselves as animals until its pointed out or see any demons, but how did the office worker think that Tarot got in there from the WINDOW which was somehow shattered? :?:

The bonus is not seeing the destruction that Steward caused in the office. LOL

So am I! Hopped onto the website to browse the forums and was delightfully surprised with a holiday strip.
That sounded better in my head

I'm pretty sure unless there is something REALLY major going on in Rick's life that he wouldn't have time, there is always gonna be a Christmas strip.

Hark, the Tarot angels flee,
No escape cuz Steward can see
All the things right through the glass,
His fist comes in with a loud crash.

No one sees it, no one flinches,
Tarot flies by within inches.
There's a dog in here, says the new wolf, unawares
That everyone's spouting some hairs.
You're a wonderful person! You can do this! Yes, you, person reading this!
