You know I am very interested in the Australia that is referenced in the song since it sounds a lot more interesting then the actual Australia if I am being honest. LOL
You know for their most well known song in the US, it was only number 1 for 4 non-consecutive weeks before it was dethroned by "Africa" and then "Baby, Come to Me".

Very nice drawings, D-Rock! I especially like the one with you and Krytus. Lots of nice little details. As for Macabre's duel with Hagus, he probably has even less incentive to win not wanting to make Halphas proud.
Really cool badge, Hlaoroo. Can't say I ever had vegemite, but it has piqued my curiosity. After all, how can anything with "vege" in it be bad?
In this sketch, Jacque asks Fanta for permission to enter an old version of hell so he can interrogate one of the inmates. He brought his sister, Belle, with him as backup. A bit of heated dialogue ensues between the former lovers (https://www.deviantart.com/nleonardo87/ ... -874184195)

Re: Art Thread
Smart of Jacque to bring his sister along.
You know, I’ve only heard of vegemite being one of those things that you either really enjoy or you don’t.
Macabre most likely isn’t worried about making his previous family proud. They lost that chance. Something Halphas is well aware of. Buuut yeah, hold back for the mortal. It’s a lot of paperwork no one wants to get tangled up in.

Re: Art Thread
Couldn’t help myself, but made some more amulets for Oliver.
*Holy Flame*: An amulet meant to replicate the original, though made entirely of Celestial materials, gold and ruby. Has a very warm feeling to it, though this made it somewhat uncomfortable for Oliver to wear for extended periods.
*Royal Pendant*: Mortal jewelry made of polished Celestial amethyst and sapphire. It was used as a symbol of divinely-ordained rulers, though the family line this initially belonged to lost favor with Heaven, leading to the blessing and amulet to be rescinded. Oliver was allowed to keep it.
*Heart of Brimstone*: Infernal pendant made of sulphur. Shines brightly at all times, yet has an unpleasant smell to it, and mortals are incapable of being in its presence for too long.
*Infernal Pendant*: pendant made from a polished block of ice from the frozen lake of Cocytus, with an insert containing magma from the infamous Lake of Fire. Even mortals with no spiritual strengths can sense the dark essence of this pendant. This was given to Oliver as a gift by [REDACTED] to enhance his latent Infernal strengths against potential threats. Can cause debilitating corruption to mortals, so Oliver does not allow this to be used by them.
*Essence of Creation*: Forged for Oliver to parallel the Infernal Pendant. Powerful enough for mortals not trained in the spiritual realms to sense its light. Until he reached his full potential, this also amplified his latent Celestial strengths. Creation was authorized by Cerberus, with the stipulation that mortals never use it, otherwise its power could overwhelm their bodies.
Fun fact, both Heart of Brimstone and Essence of Creation use alchemical symbols; the former using one of the symbols for sulphur, the other of which was seen in the comic with The Forgotten, and the latter using the symbol of, well, creation.
*Betwixt Amulet*: Oliver’s original amulet made from Celestial jade and Infernal silver. Has no special properties besides sentimental and symbolic value. Was at one point badly damaged in battle against Lilith, but has since been repaired.

Re: Art Thread
The Heart of Creation symbol was used by magicians in the 16th century to symbolize the Biblical "Seal of God" or the Divine Number --- 777. Now, this is extremely ironic as magic is a sin in the Bible, but yeah. Useless trivia, whoo!

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

You've got a unique abstract style going on there Rydr, got the feel of menace to your mecha cats. Great drawing dryideabat, love the winged horse Belle and the mag she is reading, Nice detail. Great amulets D-Rock.
My latest sketch, trying out a few things, not quite there yet, colours a bit muddy but let me know what you think.

Thanks all! Love the comments! Yes, can kinda see the croissant look now you mention it Tinnier, or a pasty you must be hungry, yeah, I tried to concentrate a bit more with the shading and highlights to get it looking 3d and the shadows help I think.
Tinnier is right Rydr, the colours at the bottom are the only colours I used for the picture, which I created at the start before drawing the rest. I then just pick them with the eye dropper tool to select, I think using a limited pallet of complementary colours helps make images more striking. I try to pick a light, medium and dark colour set for each main colour and ensure they are a different tint/hue and not just lighter and darker, for example dark orangey red, mid orange and a light peachy orange make up the oranges for the fur. I must point out I am by no means professional, didn't study art and am making things up and trying them as I go along .
Thanks Weston, I'll take that

Such a cute sleepy foxy, Ddeer. Red foxes do vary somewhat in their coloration.
Cool mecha-cat Rydr Warklub. For some reason, his first design kind of reminds me of Ultron's first makeshift vessel from the 2nd Avengers movie. He got no strings on him.
Those last three amulets look really neat, though there's nothing wrong with the simplicity of the first three. Nice work, D-Rock.
Here's a little more on Mulder and his dialogue with Jacque and Belle. He may be a brutish warrior/necromancer, but he's also very conniving. Do not underestimate him... https://www.deviantart.com/nleonardo87/ ... -874553184

Thanks, Bat.
Well, Jacque is now in a tough predicament, but the next step would be finding Arrezo. Let’s see how their stories converge.

Re: Art Thread
Today I cleaned up a bit and looked through some old folders.
In between I found an old ink drawing that I have since completely forgotten.
Desmond (the mouse in the middle) attends a family reunion that's a bit ... chaotic.

Wow, that's a lot of mice! When your house has this many, you best give up. It's less that the house has a major mouse infestation versus having a minor human nuisance.
Anyway, love their many personalities and mini stories. Hope that mommy mouse finds her baby.

One last quick sketch to go with a tidbit more of the plot (https://www.deviantart.com/nleonardo87/ ... -874841909). Belle provides her little brother some pearls of wisdom in her candid way.
Re: Art Thread
A rather touching moment.
Re: Art Thread
You are good with expressions and poses dryideabat. Like the mouse reunion Tinnier , a load going on threre, must have taken a while, reminds me of wheres Wally in terms of the amount of characters all doing something.
