I thought that was what it was but I just wanted to check because I doubt you would misspell words that badly. I just didn't know how to ask since I didn't want to come off as rude. XD

Decided my sona needed a change or two.
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Re: Art Thread
That's buster, fifth version of my sona, she's a Coati. She's also named after a mythbusters Prop.
Started out as a species swap of Rheya (2nd version of sona, and the one iv'e reverted back to, repeatedly, over the years.) done for an event one time, decided to keep her.
...wait a mniute, Rocky, you already know all of this. Why am i having to explain it again?

I think because the hair was different and threw me off. Wasn’t her hair straight last time you went coati? Also, did that initial change happen to be for Species Change Week?

Re: Art Thread
more of a scruffy mullet actually, and that version became my main RP character on a discord, so she just kinda took over.

She does look really beautiful and I like her smile! Hopefully she doesn't end up like her namesake does because at least that Buster can be put together (or do Adam and Jamie have multiple? It's been so long and I can't bring myself to watch the show again knowing that Adam and Jamie are never gonna have anything to do with each other ever and Grant dying)
Re: Art Thread
Great drawing Buster, not heard of a Coati before, you've caught the head shape well.

She looks like the type to "take things over" ... really nice job, Buster. The colors are striking and the face expressive.

Now you are going to have me googling what the heck a "coatl" is.
Re: Art Thread
Good work, D-Rock and DDeer. That bear is so mean against that poor fox. That's very nice, Buster.

I'm sure that the bear will eventually get what's coming to him since karma does indeed always punishes ones who are selfish and nasty.
Re: Art Thread
Fan comic of dryideabats’s Arezzo, being mentored in how to control his enhanced form by Mirage.
Whether or not she succeeds remains to be seen.
Re: Art Thread
I love the last panel, it's simplicity gives it added impact (I think so, anyway!)

That was so beautiful Rocky! Mirage's method will only be successful though if Arezzo can get out of a mess of melted black licorice jello though. XP

Re: Art Thread
Really nice continuation of the story, Ddeer. It looks like the bear and his design personifies the icy harshness of the winter wind, going in hand with the wolf being born from the stars of the winter night.
Neat redesign, Buster. You don't see too many coati fursonas.
Love your rendition of Arezzo, D-Rock. Thank you so much. Mirage would be a good teacher for him to master his beastly form. The risk of failure is catastrophic, but the reward is a new pure-hearted ally of unspeakable power.
Speaking of which... After completing the trials, Arezzo returned to Homer, only to find them missing. He had no leads as to their whereabouts, but remembered how he found them the first time. He went back to Aureola and had her place him back inside one of her crystals. While inside, he saw a bat in a lab coat, shouting, "You were a mistake; a product of Homer's meddling!" He then saw Desiree floating in the dark and screaming in agony. Every so often, the same shadowy furnace-faced demons flashed before his eyes, growling, "Free us!" There was a familiar raccoon, alongside Aureola, Verna, Fastus, and several others banded together. He then caught a glimpse of himself getting blasted through the chest. Lastly, he saw a desert with pyramids and an old temple.

Re: Art Thread
Not gonna lie right now but the one scene where Arezzo is getting blasted reminds me of the scene in Dragonball Z where Goku sacrifices himself to get rid of Raditz so they have Piccolo fire a beam through the two of them which kills them.
Thus began the running gag of Goku getting killed off in every arc.

Re: Art Thread
Thanks for the kind comments dryideabat, you make an interesting point, I wanted to try and vary the shading style between characters so glad someone picked up on that, great drawings from yourself as always, impressive wings, I find those hard to draw.

I am hoping that Arezzo doesn't end up getting killed off every so often since as I said the scene of him being shot reminds me of Goku's first DBZ death.
Re: Art Thread
Another character ask. First time pairing these two.

Great job on both of the pictures that you have posted. Teen Oliver certainly is very heroic and dashing in my opinion!

This was a viable trick in Legend of Zelda: A link to the past.

I really want to see other emotions on Rocky's characters faces though.
Re: Art Thread
I guess if you want weirder, a later entry in the game series, Ocarina Of Time, let you reflect the evil kings magic with glass bottles.
Who needs a sword that banishes evil when you have a glass bottle?

Guess my father had the right idea in buying Coke in glass bottles even if they are a pain to open with a can opener.
Re: Art Thread
Took a ton of digging and a lot of splicing to get a reference I wanted.
I can tell you this, the person that Mirage is currently facing is about to have a bad time.
