I thought she was only hostile when it came to people spreading that about the Opener and not anything else?
Re: Arcs that would never happen, but are fun to think about
Tarot asks Rex to teach her to bake cookies. Rex agrees but only if she promises not to use magic. She tries but the temptation proves too great....

That and the fact that WITHOUT magic(k) when she bakes them they end up tasting like feet.
Re: Arcs that would never happen, but are fun to think about
Hmmmm.... That also happened when she tried to learn grape pressing.

Basically whenever she tries to do something without magic(k) since she has been used to using it for so long it turns out catastrophic because she can't do anything without it because she has to relearn.

I think she mentioned something to Steward when he talked to Marion when the squirrel was in the treehouse.Amazee Dayzee wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 11:36 pm I thought she was only hostile when it came to people spreading that about the Opener and not anything else?

Unfortunately, for Peanut, the only job available is taking care of Cathy the viper.

While everybody thinks that is gonna be a recipe for disaster and it will all end tragically for Peanut, he is actually pretty competent at it.

I'm pretty sure that a good 80% of future material in terms of arcs for the comic can be Peanut misunderstanding situations.

Ooooh. That would be a first. having a bisexual character in the comic! I wouldn't mind that. Though it is up to Rick.

Re: Arcs that would never happen, but are fun to think about
I recall that Rick stated once that he did initially want to make one of them gay, in the strip where two of them confused the other for a female. At the time, he didn't think it was "appropriate" to bring attention to that. Rick has grown a lot since then.
Re: Arcs that would never happen, but are fun to think about
Seems funnier, even today, for the entire Bigglesworth clan to be confused, much like their owner.

Here's an arc that will never happen. One of the wolf cubs falls in love with a human girl.
Re: Arcs that would never happen, but are fun to think about
Remembering a conversation between a couple of the Bigglesworth clan with Max and Grape at the Yarn Ball, confusion seems to be a primary comic foil among their gang.

The owner might have the excuse that she is senile but their excuse is not having any clue which one the cat they are talking to is. LOL

The Bigglesworth's owner peacefully passes away in her sleep and animal control as well as her living relatives need to figure out what to do with all the cats.
Re: Arcs that would never happen, but are fun to think about
Rex happens to mention that he knows how to sail, and Bino overhears him. So, hoping to impress Duchess, he browbeats Rex into teaching him how to sail, dragging Yeltsin, Griswald, and Daisy along. It goes ... unexpectedly.

Would unexpectedly be Bino actually succeeding, or would someone like Daisy or Yetlsin have to bail them out of Bino’s mess?

Actually there were a lot of people who were actually hoping for an arc like that once we found out that Steward was transforming innocent people to try to bankrupt the ECP.

A catastrophic event wipes out everything on Earth except Babylon Gardens and there is nothing else around after it happens. Just Babylon Gardens. No zombies, no survivors, no monsters, just...Babylon Gardens.
